I know a lot of Americans come to Canada every day for work. I know they clock in, clock out, go to a restaurant for food & go back to their hotel. Tonight I came to Jako. I had a side of fries & a miso soup with some alcohol. But I'm not going to review the obviously amazing food. Because tonight wasn't about food, it was about an experience. It was about coming in with a friend & being greeted by the owner. It was about random people saying hello & sitting with me. It was about staying late & having conversations with people I'll never meet again. Tonight I wasn't just another American stopping in for a late night dinner, I was apart of a community & that community was found in Restaurant Jako. Le service était irréprochable, le serveur pensait tellement à nous que je me suis senti très spécial. Les serveurs étaient toujours là pour débarrasser nos plats & pour savoir si tout était bien.
