This place gave me my favorite meal of the trip, by far. The food is delicious, pasta cooked to have just the perfect amount of bite to it. I love me some fresh pasta, especially after my recent trip to Italy & this restaurant certainly met the standard for pasta I’ve developed since then. The drinks are great, lots of fun cocktails. Our server Tristan D chatted with us, asked us where we were from, & made us feel so welcome. He was so kind, & I can’t wait to come back as soon as I can. 10/10

Bien que situé sur la Place Jacques-Cartier, ce n'est pas un attrape-touriste. On nous a bien accueilli, efficacement servis & sérieusement nourris. Même les desserts étaient très bien !

Par contre la cuisine est à revoir, le goût n’y étais pas :
- Petite portion pour un prix excessif
- Manquait cruellement de saveurs

Food was very disappointing, no taste as mention in the presentation when ordering!
Wine list interesting at high price!
Unfortunately just after we paid we were ask to leave... Never saw that before...
I won't come back for sure.

We were there for NYE & god it was terrible. The place it self is beautiful but the food was flavorless & poorly executed. When you pay a fix price of 100$ each for a fix menu, you expect to get good food considering that the chef is only doing a few thing a not the full menu. The risotto was terrible & pasty, the pasta where not tasting anything, the portion were really small & I could go on & on regarding the food. Really wanted to leave at some point.. considering I knew I would end it with a 300$ bill for food a 5 years old would of done better. Never again.

My wife & I frequent Old Montreal regularly & have our favorite places. For something different we decided to try Jacopo on place Jacques Cartier as it is new. We sat on the quaint terrace & when we went inside found the decor very nice & the place was very clean. The service was also excellent & very efficient.
The food however was quite plain & rather flavorless. The prices were exorbitant & sprung on the unsuspecting tourists who made up a large part of the clientele. Plates arrive with only your meat & fish selection leaving you to order everything else piece meal. We paid $200 for a second rate meal that was not worth $100. We will not go back.

Delicious italian cuisine in a beautiful old historic building. The atmosphere was amazing! Service was very professional.
