Excellent customer service (Sofie) right from the beginning. She asked if we wanted glasses of water even though we ordered drinks, & when we decided to order one more beer to split, she kindly gave us two glasses & filled them partially. Great customer service, a great atmosphere, & fantastic DJ music. I would recommend this place.View more

We had fish tacos & the mushroom truffle burger. Both were delicious & I wouldn't hesitate ordering either again.
On the flip side, I don't recommend the poutine here. Something off about the sauce & the type of fries. The normal fries or sweet potato fries by themselves were way better.View more

We came for a 50th wedding anniversary & Peggy was our server. She did a phenomenal job taking care of our group. The food was delicious & I recommend trying their smashed loaded potatoes as a side, so good & unlike anything I've ever had while eating out! Also if you've never had their garlic pan bread, do yourself a favour & order some, it will change your life!View more

We just had an amazing night at Jack Astor's. We have been coming here for over 10 years & the experience has only gotten better. We had the beef nachos, chicken tacos, honey garlic chicken wings, & the garlic pan bread. Everything was cooked to perfection. Wings were saucy & crispy, nachos were cheesy & crunchy. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious as always. We were told the kitchen is under new management & if the food we had tonight was any indication it's going in the right direction. They have decorated for Christmas & the ambiance is wonderful & festive. Our server (shout out to Julia) was absolutely fantastic, very attentive & helpful. I was at Jack Astors Dorval twice this week. Both times I had exceptional service. My order came as ordered (picky eater) & everything was hot & tasty. Brandy. Dylan & Stacy (assistant General Manager) went above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend their nachos, asiago bow ties, burgers & tacos! May I suggest the ownership group brings back their quesadillas. They were AMAZING. BRING THEM BACK!!!!!View more

So my dad & I decided to have our monthly restaurant night recently & we decided to go to Jask Astors. We haven't gone there since the pandemic hit in 2020 so it's was about time we came back. We were expecting to have some good food there but we were pretty disappointed. Here is my breakdown on how rate everything. Food - ⭐️⭐️ We both ordered the Chicken Parmigiana from the menu. The meal consisted of a piece of chicken with tomato sauce & melted cheese on top & a side of pasta with cream & tomato sauces. The meal is very mediocre. Pasta was a bit under-seasoned & chicken felt like it was deep fried. Cheese was barely melted on said piece of chicken. If your expecting a more traditional style of "chicken parm" do not go here. Also note the price for the meal was $25 & it was a smaller portion than what you would see at other restaurants for the same price or for a little cheaper. Service - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our waitress was nice, respectful & understanding of our requests to improve our experience. No real complaints for the service. However, I am not giving the service 5 stars as it was not over & beyond, just your typical good service. Atmosphere - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The atmosphere was typical for Jask Astor's, no real complaints here aswell. However, it's does not help that the place was pretty empty when we went. In total: Food: ⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Average rating 3.3333/5 (Rounded to ⭐️⭐️⭐️) Extra notes: I do not recommend going here for food here really. If your going out for some drinks, this place is not bad to go to. (Though drinks are a bit expensive here) They have a decent sized bar, plenty of TV's if you want to watch any sports games that are on.View more

Today I went for the first time to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. The service was a little slow ( short in staff). & honestly the food wasn't good. Chicken was salty, with no taste. Usually it should be marinated when is grilled. It felt i am eating boiled chicken. For the price I paid I didn't get the quality i expected. I was really disappointed for the food since it was my birthday. The only thing I liked was the drink. I don't recommend this restaurant.
