That was our main motivation behind the India Rosa concept.

Overall, India Rosa Griffintown presents a lively, stylish setting with consistently flavorful Indian fusion dishes, from butter chicken and lamb korma to paneer specials and inventive brunch options, paired with attentive service and creative cocktails; portions are generally generous and the brunch options are well received, though the venue can be noisy at peak times and prices can feel high for some dishes.
C'était délicieux, comme d'habitude. J'ai essayé un smoothie énergie & le béné butter chicken (un classique). Mon seul point négatif (& plusieurs restaurants le font), c'est qu'ils mettent tout de suite les options 18% & 20% ou plus pour le pourboire. C'est assez fâchant. 18 % à 20 % : c'est pour un service excellent ou une expérience exceptionnelle. Cela donne envie de commander pour emporter ou tout simplement éviter le restaurant.
La qualité de la nourriture est exceptionnelle! Un mélange de saveurs des plus équilibrés & subtiles. Le service était de grande qualité! Notre serveuse nous a orienté dans nos choix, & elle était vraiment attentive. Que de bons mots à dire à propos du travail de notre serveuse.
Amazing atmosphere to dine in & the cocktails were fantastic, however the food slightly lacked flavour.
Ordered the quebec lamb korma, chicken biryani & the meat for both was juicy & tender & the spices were there but very slight. Dehi puri was fantastic not too sweet but also very refreshing. I would come back again, just for the vibes.
L'endroit est tellement beau, mais je reste déçu de mon expérience. Nous avons pris à deux le plateau à partager de 75 $ & il y avait à peine de nourriture pour 1 personne. Donc le plateau, 2 coupes de vin pour total de 183 $, dérisoire.
Visited India Rosa in Griffintown recently. The ambiance is stunning & the vibe is very high-energy.
Food: I highly recommend the Paneer Stuffed Grilled Mushrooms. They were incredibly delicious & the chutney was perfectly'chutpatti' (tangy/spicy). The only downside was the portion-only 3 pieces for the price, which felt a bit small, though the quality was excellent.
A note on the decor: As an Indian, I had mixed feelings about the elephant painting at the entrance. While it's clearly meant to be modern &'boho,' seeing an elephant in traditional royal attire (reminiscent of Ganpati) holding a cocktail felt a bit jarring to me, especially at the entrance where we usually place sacred symbols. It's a beautiful piece of art, but it might feel a bit sensitive to those who grew up with traditional values.
I've attached a photo of the painting I mentioned-it's very well-painted, but the imagery was a bit unexpected for me.
Overall, a great spot for drinks & fusion flavors!

This is possibly the worst indian food I have ever had. The chicken was obviously not cooked in the sauce. Sauces were lacking flavour. Noisy - more emphasis on the cocktails & bar.

I am regular here & the food is excellent..I brought my company's founder & he loved the food but
**********One exception --Service -----this time was the waitress lady (with tattos, dont recall her name) was not friendly at all (all other have been really good)***********
We tried to thank her, tipped her at the end too..but this was the first time i got this kind of'cold' behavior & free education about cocktails ...its not about the words , its the body language that says everything..
I dont usually write reviews but at this level, this kind of service/cold behavior is not acceptable!
Expérience exceptionnelle ! Juliette a été absolument formidable lors de la célébration de mon anniversaire. Ultra gentille, souriante & attentionnée, elle a vraiment fait toute la différence. Service impeccable & énergie incroyable. Un grand merci Juliette, tu es au top !
