India Rosa Griffintown is widely praised for a chic, welcoming atmosphere that suits date nights, brunches, and celebrations. The menu blends classic Indian flavors with a modern twist, featuring favorites like butter chicken, lamb dishes, garlic naan, paneer, and signature brunch items such as chicken waffles, eggs Benedict, and chai drinks, all plated with style. The presentation and balance of flavors receive frequent compliments, and the tapas style tasting boards let guests sample a variety of dishes. Service is consistently described as attentive and friendly, with staff guiding choices and keeping drinks refilled. The venue is noted for its impressive decor, bright open spaces, and a lively vibe that can be loud when busy, and some comments mention pricing and portion sizes. Overall, India Rosa Griffintown is regarded as a standout Indian fusion spot in Montreal with reliable quality, a strong drinks program, and a welcoming team that makes it worth returning.
Always great food & service. Music was a touch too loud for dinner time. Lip-reading & shouting across the table overtop of everyone's food isn't ideal.

Great ambience & cocktails. The bartender impressed us by making an off-menu drink. Food tasted good, but the meat quality was very disappointing-lamb chops were chewy & the butter chicken wasn't tender. Service was good, no complaints. Overall a good experience, but not worth the price for the food quality.
Stopped by India Rosa on a regular day when we just felt like eating out somewhere different, & it honestly turned into one of those unexpectedly great meals.
The place has a really welcoming vibe when you walk in. Nothing too fancy or overwhelming-just a comfortable spot where you can sit down, relax, & actually enjoy your food & conversation.
The food was the real highlight. The **Sweet Waffles** were amazing-perfect texture & flavor, easily the thing I'd come back for. We also tried the **Paneer Tikka Sandwich**, & it was packed with flavor. It had that perfect savory kick without being too heavy.
For drinks we ordered an exotic drink & the **chai lemonade**, which had a really refreshing citrus taste with a subtle spice to it. It was something different from the usual drinks you see everywhere.
What I liked most was that the whole experience felt easy & comfortable. The decor looks great but still feels cozy, & it's the kind of place you could stop by for a casual lunch, brunch, or just a relaxed meal any day of the week.
Definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving something flavorful & a little different from the usual.
The service was exceedingly slow & we were not attended to. I spoke with the waitress after & relayed my concerns. She said that she was working alone with the bartender. The management should address the issue. Even though the food was great, I question if I will come back bcz of the poor service.

I went with a friend. It was her first time to India Rosa in Griffintown. I invite her to try the lamb with the cashew sauce that I like very much . She like it too. Then we had for dessert the Gulab jamun. Very nice meal.Nice ambiance. The service with Coralie was pleasant, always smiling. She help me with the cocktail's choices.. We sure will go back. Thank you vous
Best place to get indian food in all of Canada. This place has a different aura, & that experience stays with you for a long time. I would go here every day if I were living in Montreal. Thank you to the owners & thank you to the service people for this awesome & unique place.
We ditched the traditional anniversary plans for Indian-Fusion at India Rosa Griffintown, & it was 10/10. If you haven't tried their Sweet Waffles, you are seriously missing out-easily the star of the show! 🧇
What we ordered:
• Sweet Waffles (A total game changer)
• Paneer Tikka Sandwich (Savory perfection)
• Exotic Drink + Chai Lemonade for that zesty kick 🍋
The decor is just as stunning as the plates. Perfect for your next date night or girls' brunch!
