This place is amazing ! I had a reservation & I didn't had to wait, as soon as I got there I was seated at a table. The place is nice well decorated. The drinks were really good, made by Alex who I had the chance to be served by at the bar, gave me strong recommendations ! The manager Shelly is super sweet I made so many change to my order & she was patient & understanding. The staff is truly what make the place great, on top of the food & the service. A must is the sake bomb which is the house speciality. A special thanks to, charlotte my waitress, who gave an excellent service, they kept talking about a certain Anthony guy, but I have no clue who that is, must be someone important or no.
Recommend this place 10/10.View more

With its lively, vibrant atmosphere, it's the perfect venue for happy hour, to unwind after work, or just to have a great time with friends.
We kicked off our evening with some delicious appetizers, including salmon tartare & karaage, all of which were wonderful. For our main course, we indulged in a hearty, creamy ramen that was incredibly filling!
Of course, no visit would be complete without a round of sake bombs, & I couldn't resist going all out with the Rainbow Bomb 🌈💣 for a fun twist! 😅View more

View more
A Wonderful Japanese Izakaya. Delicious food, variety of drink options, sake bombs, great atmosphere. Coat check at the front for easy sitting (chairs do not have backs but are very comfortable). All the staff are amazing. Cant wait to stop back next time I'm in town. Recommend!View more
Had a blast, Kelly was great at rallying the troops for Sake bomb, glad to have brought my out of town friends there !!View more
Nancy's the sake BOMB. Coming back just to see her. So attentive, so alert, & so fun! Thanks for a great experience!View more
Sake bombs are really fun to do as a group & the cold pint beers will quench your alcohol thirst. However, the food is waaaay over priced for what you get. No value to be had here but you will get the vibes.View more
We went here yesterday & we’re served by Nancy, who seemed to be taking care of the entire restaurant.
She was amazing & made our experience memorable with her energy & care for us to have a great time.
The food was amazing, varied & for my friend & I to stuff ourselves with two sake-bombs & three cocktails, it came down to about 80-90$ per person.
Will come back here! & highly recommend going on Fridays & Saturdays because I believe that’s when Nancy works.View more
Great lively crowd, very fun to go in groups, & you have to try the saké bombs at least once for fun if not twice for repeat fun! Pricey markup on saké selection, but what restaurant doesn't on their wine menu nowadays... decent late night snack option if you want to do everything under the same roof, get well fed, a bit or more than a bit tipsy, & make a lot of noise in the middle of it all. There needs to be more competition with izakayas in montreal to bring down those wait lines. Guu & Zakkushi should definitely expand into Montreal to spread the love of good japanese food & hospitality.
Wow quelle ambiance!!!!
Perfect for a big group. Their rainbow & saké bombs are a must-try but the place does get noisy. The welcoming was nice when we entered, but the waiter made a large mistake in our order. The menu is very varied which is a plus.
Great ambiance. Definitely lively & the place to go if you want to have a good time with friends. The menu takes some explanation but everything I've tried was excellent. As a fan of Sapporo (for those who are not familiar, it's a japanese beer), it is only natural that I am drawn to this place. The edemame is the perfect finger food to have along with a beer or saké bomb (which is surprisingly good).
Best word to describe this restaurant is madness.
If this website had an ambiance/atmosphere rating, Imadake would be on the top list. It is so loud. Went there on a Thursday with a group, the restaurant was flooded with people. Everyone's shouting SAKE BOMB! all the time, the staff cheers & drinks & seems to lose control but still keeps it running.
The menus are a bit messy to understand since you're dealing with traditional Japanese finger food but you just order random stuff & it's always ranks from edible to delicious. Takoyaki dish is a must, & at 25$/bottle of hot saké, it is so cheap to get the party started.
Note : For big groups make the reservation a few days in advance, & make it around 8pm or later. Otherwise there might be a group scheduled after you.
