Dans l’ensemble, Il Bazzali est vu comme une adresse italienne chaleureuse et conviviale où les plats généreux, les pâtes fraîches et les raviolis récoltent les éloges et les portions rassasiantes conviennent à tous; le service est généralement attentif et l’ambiance cosy, agrémentée des performances d’opéra du chef qui vient saluer les tables, est largement appréciée et contribue à une expérience mémorable; le rapport qualité prix est souvent jugé bon et la carte variée, notamment avec des arancinis, des antipasti et des desserts, tandis que certaines critiques ciblent des pizzas parfois décevantes ou des prix élevés; globalement, la terrasse et l’accueil chaleureux sont aussi soulignés et beaucoup annoncent leur retour pour l’authenticité italienne et l’expérience unique.
An amazing place for a date! The food was great (we had pasta with salmon & carbonara), the service was amazing, & the chef went out to sing opera for us, & then stopped by our table to inquire about our experience. We felt valued & appreciated & will definitely come back ❤️
One of the best meals I've had in Montreal, & that's saying something. My friends & I each did the 4 course menu, we all got different items, & each loved everything we ate. Florence & Margot took such phenomenal care of us. They made it such a memorable & lovely experience. Could not recommend it highly enough!

Endroit très sympa, cuisine très bonne & un chef qui vient de temps en temps en salle pour chanter. Il est d'ailleurs venu à notre table pour chanter un petit air à mon mari pour son anniversaire !
We had an amazing time at this restaurant! The chef/owner came to see us numerous times, he sang for everyone at the restaurant (live opera performance). The food was 5 star authentic Italian cuisine. The chef even came out to sing happy birthday to the birthday day personally. Ambience, vibes & hospitality were 100/10! 100% would recommend this gem! Thank you for the amazing experience, it is rare to find nowadays in Montreal.
Bon service, ambiance accueillante. Plats délicieux : j'ai pris la suggestion de pasta à la ricotta / épinard : un délice !!! Le vin était tout aussi excellent.
Intimate & cozy atmosphere. The crestaurant is decorated simply. It has a nice low-key vibe ... people were really enjoying themselves. The food was excellent. The gnocchi & cod were fantastic. The carbonara was delicious, & the braised beef was incredible. The owner chef sang for us. It was a terrific night. Highly recommend.
The pizza was good, but not the typical Italian one as I know from Europe. The gnocchis were delicious & the Ambiente was very good. The chef is a tenor & showed us his skills, we really enjoyed it. We would go there again if we will be in Montreal again.
Ce restaurant est formidable à tous les points Qualité- prix très bien dans l'ensemble Ce n'est pas un resto à tapas mais demandez-le & ils vous le feront volontiers

Delightful evening of terrific food & hospitality! The restaurant was very busy & the service was great. The owner performed a couple of short opera pieces during dinner which was the icing on the cake.

Très bon restaurant Italien, une ambiance chaleureuse & chantante (un super cuisinier/ténor) ! Petit bémol sur les linguines bolognaise très (trop) aldente.
I came from the Caribbean's craving Pasta & decided to Google restaurants near my neighbourhood. We usually go to a south shore Italian restaurant but it was closed for Easter Sunday. This one picked my curiosity due to its proximity but knew that it was overpriced for the amount of pasta served in the dishes they offer. Once there, I found the atmosphere appealing & the smells were pleasant. The seating was a bit odd but we adapted to it. After looking at the menu I chose the Braised Beef Scoter & my girl the ravioli a la Toscana. To make it simple, the Braised Beef Scoter was the one dish I will go back for & the Arancini without forgetting their interesting private Wine list. The pasta dishes can be an overpriced small quantity for small appetites. Again Braised Beef Scoter 5/5 in my personal opinion!!!
Très belle expérience! Le personnel est fantastique! Vraiment excellent service! La nourriture était très bonne! & que dire du chef avec sa voix de ténor qui est venu chanter bonne fête à la mère de ma copine. Une belle attention qu'elle a apprécié! Nous avons adoré!
We were visiting from out of town & chose this place for our "special" meal, in part based on the reviews. The servers were incredible. The atmosphere was great. The singing was special. But the food was not up to expectations (or prices) & we wished we had of gone somewhere else for our special meal out.
