La formule des deux restaurants est confuse. En réservant Ichigo Ichie Izakaya, je pensais aller au restaurant de Ramen. Je vous suggère de clarifier cet aspect. À part ça, bon service, bonne nourriture & cool endroit.

Excellent, as always. We're fortunate to have this restaurant right around the corner. They have a great, innovative izakaya tapas menu, along with ramen. It's nice being able to reserve a table for the izakaya.

Japanese izakaya dishes with wafu inspired nuanced & delicate flavours. I'd recommend staying with the more traditional Japanese dishes as some of the fusion dishes don't always live up to their menu description. One of my go to restaurants in Montreal.

Le gyu tataki & le mochi donuts était excellent. Par contre vraiment dommage qu on n ait pas pu manger de ramen alors que certaines personnes à côté de nous le pouvaient. Le concept est un peu étrange mais j imagine que l addition izakaya est nettement plus élevée que celle des ramène ( en fin de repas ça reste quand même cher!)

Don't book if you want to eat ramen (you can't !). The food from the izakaya was really disappointing, especially for the price. So i really see no point of ever booking, since only their ramen are worth it. The drinks were good & the service was friendly & quick.
I'm very surprised, since I remember liking the place in the past.

Our dinner was seriously ranked as a one of the best top 5 ever for me. It is a step-up from current izakayas. Every single dish we ordered was a winner up to the dessert & very yummy cocktails. Wonderful sweet attentive servers. A Montreal must.

Top notch izakaya. Excellent flavours, & very reasonable prices. Best takoyaki I've ever had. Only complaint is that it was a bit chilly in our part of the restaurant. Will be back!

Ichigo Ichie Izakaya is an exceptional restaurant ... a neighbourhood gem that many people might walk past if they didn't notice the frequent long lines of those waiting to get in. The Japanese tapas sharing menu is varied & exciting & supplanted by chef's specials. The restaurant can be a bit noisy, so not the best place for a quiet romantic dinner, but if you enjoy spirited conversation & laughter, this is your place.

An excellent take on an Izakaya with a number of fusion dishes. The radish salad & marinated mackeral are to die for, not to mention the grilled squid. Being half Japanese & having lived in Japan for many years, I'd recommend this restaurant highly.

We had a miso soup & salmon tartare for the appetizer, carbonara udon & unadon for the main, & doughnuts for dessert. The food was pristine in taste & presentation. The vibe was really pleasant; the music was not too loud & the lighting was dim & very allusive to Japanese Izakayas.
I'm giving it three stars for two reasons: first, the card machine shows you the tipping options with the 25% button closest to where the 10% usually is (even though I was very happy to give a larger tip, I feel that this is borderline taking advantage of the customer's reflexes). Secondly & sadly, the morning after we both felt ill to the stomach...
Great service overall.
