Un magnifique moment!
Le restaurant a oublié de m'appeler pour m'informer qu'il n'y avait pas de menu Montréal à table le samedi. Pour s'en excuser, le restaurant a concocté à mon copain & moi un menu à partager & a même appliqué un rabais pour s'excuser du manque de communication...il n'y a pas à dire le service était impeccable & le client est traîté aux petits oignons!!
& que dire de la qualité des tapas japonaises Un vrai bonheur pour les papilles & c'est sans parler des cocktails qui sont recherchés avec l'ajout d'un ingrédient typique du Japon!
Je recommande le restaurant Ichigo sans hésiter & nous y retournerons avec certitude!

Nous avons adoré notre soirée. Notre serveur était aimable & à l'écoute. Les cocktails étaient frais & délicieux. Les plats étaient bien présentés, copieux & succulents! Bref, on y retournera plus souvent!

on etait a letage cetait bruyant quand meme. personnel parfait, tres gentil, a lecoute, les plats sont apportés avec un timing impeccable. Cocktails & cuisine a tombée bravo aux cuistots! Une place a revenir!

Insanely delicious food! We had the beef tataki, prawn tempura, ramens, both black sesame & matcha tiramisu as well as the monaka. All fantastic! Cocktails were great as well. But the best part was our amazing (& VERY cute) waiter Zackary who went the extra mile on my bday! A well deserved tip, thank you!! We’ll be back 🤩

Comme d'habitude tout était excellent, la nourriture tout comme l'ambiance & le service! Peut-être juste apportez les différents services un peu moins rapidement pour laisser le temps de boire des cocktails en discutant...

Our dinner was seriously ranked as a one of the best top 5 ever for me. It is a step-up from current izakayas. Every single dish we ordered was a winner up to the dessert & very yummy cocktails. Wonderful sweet attentive servers. A Montreal must.

Nous avons passé une bonne fin de soirée. Le cocktail Shiso Sour, excellent. Les assiettes arrivent rapidement & tout est bon, du tataki de thon aux yakitori. Un isakaya très respectable. Il serait bon d'indiquer le vestiaire dès l'arriée vu l'espace limité.

Best Asian-inspired meal I've ever had. Great music & atmosphere. Young funky crowd. Worn minimalist wooden furniture in a dark, casual space. Fun, innovative cocktails. Amazing Asian dishes served tapas style, each with a creative, surprising spin. We loved the ichigo tonic cocktail & ichigo IPA, a deep-fried eggplant dish, the udon noodles with mushrooms, the black cod, & especially the hamachi sashimi. Service was superb — friendly, knowledgeable, & efficient. Even the desserts were great — tiramisu matcha & a donut dish. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Nourriture & cocktails excellents. Bonne ambiance. Seul bémol au niveau du service: on ne nous a pas demandé si nous voulions d'autres plats ou boissons après avoir pris chacune 1 cocktail & 4 plats à partager.

Great food, great cocktails too. I would have given 4.5 if the system allowed it, as the only downside was the long wait for having our order taken (but then the food arrived in good time) Strong reccommend.

Excellent food, excellent service, queer-friendly. A great choice for people looking for culinary adventure, comfortable for young to middle-aged folks. The kitchen was open until midnight & the cocktails are delightful, a really good choice to start a night out.
Very packed, with uncomfortable seating : not suitable for those with mobility issues, or who might have trouble getting around tight confines & stairs.
