Food was amazing but Service was terrible. Waited 30 minutes to get a table despite having a reservation. Asked for a new bill because we couldn't understand how they split the ones they gave us & they just said they couldn't & we had to pay whatever the bill says lol.

Très déçu de la paella que nous avons mangé à ce restaurant. C'est un très beau restaurant & le service était impécable, mais le plus important n'était pas au rendez-vous. Dommage.

Amazing team who took care of my review seriously. My group went back a year later, & we got served professionally. Everyone was polite but friendly, which made our night enjoyable. I really appreciate the effort of the team.

Amazing food BUT HORRIBLE SERVICE..

I have been there a few times with friends & family, it has been going great with fantastic food & services. However, tonight was REALLY disappointing. The waitress i got was RUDE & COLD. She had never smiled, didn't ask how the food was & didn't say'bye' or'thank you', which should be a standard in customer service. I believe that if you work in customer service, you should at least say'bye' &'thank you'…

I wish the service would be as consistent as their food. It has unfortunately given a bad impression on the restaurant Iberica, which made my group feel hesitant in coming back.

The bread with tomatoes was simply amazing. The octopus was perfectly boiled but unfortunately the sole meunière - the reason why we chose that restaurant - was overcooked. I felt bad for the sweet waiter who was cutting it for us as it was a bit challenging because the fish wasn't cooked properly. The tables were a bit too close to each other & no one could get up without hitting the table next to them… including the different waiters. I understand the need to make money & serve more tables but with such a layout, everyone is miserable: the clients as well as the employees. Finally, please get your customers a decent sink & hot water. The water tap doesn't close properly & it's freezing.

Petit restaurant fait en longueur à deux étages. Le repas était bon . Le service impeccable . Pour l'espace nous étions vraiment tassés . Musique forte . Surtout clientèle jeune.

We went as part of MTL à Table & found the experience adequate. After we placed our order from the event's tasting menu, our server mentioned that the best options were actually on the regular menu. This was perhaps not ideal to hear as we waited for our meal but good to know if ever we return. The food we tried was fine yet portions were a tad small.

The staff, the drinks, the food, the ambiance really made this evening special. Came to Iberica with some friends for a late dinner & we were not disappointed. Each menu item is clearly well thought out & the flavours in every bite show that the chefs clearly care for every dish. The bartender Jay was very pleasant & kept the bar clean & the manager was very charismatic & professional. It's worth a visit.

La nourriture était très bonne & le service s'est bien déroulé pendant le repas. En revanche, à la fin, le serveur a remis en question le montant du pourboire laissé, ce qui est très déplacé. Le pourboire est un geste laissé à la discrétion du client, pas une obligation. Son attitude condescendante au moment de notre départ a vraiment gâché l'expérience. C'est dommage, car tout le reste était très bien.

Août 2021, un vrai coup de coeur! Huîtres, pieuvre & paêlla un vrai regal!! Personnels attentionnés & chaleureux. Ambiance très agréable. Je vous recommande sans hésiter 🙂

Menu du nouvel an honteux & prétencieux. On se demande si la quantité est faite pour une ou deux personnes tellement il n'y a rien dans l'assiette. De ce fait le prix est exorbitant par rapport a la qualité & à la quantité. 98 dollars pour si peu, quel gâchit !

En soirée. Nous avons assez bien aimé ce restaurant, pour lequel nous donnons une note de 3.5 pour la nourriture & de 4 pour le service (très agréable, un peu lent par moment, notamment au moment du dessert).

Notre menu, dans l'ordre, pour deux personnes (114.98$, taxes incluses, avant pourboire). Prix normal.
1. Aceitunas de Ferran Adrià líquidas, modernas y tradicionales ? 10 (Olives liquides de Ferran Adrià, modernes & traditionnelles) -10
Olives liquides très bonnes, olives traditionnelles aussi. Si vous n'aimez pas le piment fort, précisez-le, de manière à ce que les deux olives pimentées soient remplacées par d'autres
2. Buñuelos de bacalao, aioli de azafrán (Beignets de morue & aïoli de safran)? 12
Très bien fait, goûteux.
Plats 3 & 4 servis en même temps, ce qui était parfait.
3. Pintxo de pulpo a la gallega, fondo de Yukon gold, aceite y limón?18 (Pintxo de pieuvre grillée, purée de pommes de terre Yukon Gold, huile & citron.)
Pieuvre bien cuite, tendre. Les p.d.t. pas en purée mais en mini cubes. Aurait demandé un peu plus d'huile dans l'assiette ou une petite sauce pour tremper/assaisonner la pieuvre. Nous nous sommes servis de la sauce romesco de nos pétoncles comme trempette.
4. Vieiras con romesco y aceite de perejil? 18 (Pétoncles sauce Romesco & huile de persil) Bien fait. Le plat était peut-être resté un peu trop en attente, certaines pétoncles avaient un peu refroidi. La sauce romesco manquait un peu de "vigueur" (par rapport aux romescos dont nous avions l'habitude à Barcelone, où nus avons vécu deux fois un an).
5. Dessert.
El exótico ? 14 Biscuit aux amandes, citron vert, mousse à la lime, crème aux fruits de la passion, ganache de chocolat blanc.
Partagé. Vraiment excellent, rien à redire.
Vin: Chacun un verre d'Albariño (2x14). Très bon.

Un gros défaut, pour nous: la musique, répétitive, bruyante, semble quelque chose qui tourne en boucle. Le gros beat finit par taper sur les nerfs, & rend la conversation difficile par moments. Cette musique ne semble pas du tout correspondre au public présent dans le restaurant. Cela nous a rappelé le restaurant crocodile qu'il y avait autrefois sur la rue Gatineau, qui était excellent (gigot d'agneau a volonté le mardi, si je me souviens bien) mais dont la musique trop forte gênait la clientèle & que les employés n'avaient pas le droit de baisser. Le resto a fermé.

En résumé, le restaurant est bon, certains plats pourraient facilement être améliorés. Musique boum boum à remplacer par quelque chose qui ne domine pas les voix des clients.

The food was good. The pork was excellent, seafood was well prepared, presentation was also great. Veggies were a bit underdone & lacking flavour.

However, the waiter was obnoxious & condescending. Almost gave a loud sigh when we decided to order our food individually & not let him fill the table with his liking. He never inquired that maybe some people had allergies & others were already aiming to get a specific dish. Even before all our guests have arrived, he refused to answer quick questions because he argued he would have to repeat to someone else after. In fact, we all talked about the fact that almost every time we ordered something or asked a question, he would react in a pretentiously snob fashion. One of our friends had already eaten before but joined our party anyway & only wanted to order an appetizer; & the waiter made him feel guilty for "only" ordering this. Looking at him straight & asking him twice "That's it?" & "You're not hungry or what?" without warmth. It felt as though the only thing on his mind was fishing for his tip.

Based on the experience, although the food was good, we will not go back there & will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The rudeness of the service affected our appreciation for the food & overall experience.
