YOU PAY FOR FISH BUT ARE EXPECTED TO ACCEPT CHICKEN FOR THE SAME PRICE ACCORDING TO THE CHEF; YOU DON'T LIKE IT? LEAVE !! WOW
We went for lunch & ordered a trio of nuggets, among other things! The waiter said that they're out of Cod so they'll replace it with pork! We don't eat pork so we asked for shrimp instead! The trio is usually chicken, shrimp & Cod. The waiter (he needs a separate review but i won't bother) came back & said that the Chef refused! He will only replace Cod with chicken. I got up to leave but wanted to make sure that the Chef actually refused, what a disgrace 😒! I went in & they were audacious enough to explain that its because shrimp is more expensive than chicken (1 nugget 🤯). What they failed to justify is why should I be paying for Cod & getting chicken instead! They basically decided to cheat people into paying more while offering less but they refuse to give you your money's worth ! Keep in mind that it has cost me more to write this review than it would have costed them to satisfy a customer with 1 shrimp 🍤 nugget! Add insult to injury? The owner was standing right there 👏👏👏
The ambiance was nice, & the waiter was very polite. The environment was pleasant; however, the service was just average. Although we ordered wine, the staff didn't refill the water in a timely manner, & the bread arrived really late-only after we had almost finished our appetizer & were deep into our main course. After we ate, even the tea we ordered wasn't refilled with hot water. Overall, it was a fairly average experience.
Been coming here for many years & I'm surprised to see the 3 or less star reviews. One of my favourite restaurants in the city, I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal or experience here. Chef Tiago never misses 👌🏼 the staff are all very attentive & helpful. Best Spanish food you'll try in Montreal! Salud!
Résultat : on a attendu encore.

Been coming here for years & never disappoints. The grilled octopus & tiger shrimp excellent. Service as well!
I wish I would have asked for some recommendations, seems I definitely ordered wrong but in no world did I believe when I ordered a scallop tapa for 28 bucks I was getting one scallop, or beef for 30 bucks & getting four finger nail sized pieces.
My favorite restaurant downtown. I've dined here dozens of times over the years & always have a great experience!
It could have been an off night, & I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but this was the worst meal I've had in a while.
We were seated immediately, but it took about 20 minutes for our food or drink order to be taken. From there it got worse. It took an hour to get only 3 tapas plates to be served. By that point, we were no longer in the mood for more food. The croquettes & the scallops were mushy.
To keep us happy they comped us a bunch of wine, but I left feeling rather ill. Too much alcohol & very little food.
For the price, totally not worth it.
Server was not able to serve & take orders properly, missing dishes, kitchen was not good as well, order steak medium rare, got well done, side dishes never came to the table.
Very Smokey from the charcoal grill fumes.
