korean(37) seafood(30) pancake(25) recommend(12) dishes(11) pajeon(10) soup(9) authentic(8) chicken(8) highly recommend(7) tasty(6) side dishes(5)Closest to halmeoni's cooking in the city. It has all the classic comfort dishes you want & definitely agree that the seafood pancake is the best in the city. The atmosphere is also classic, which I like. Only downside is there's little space so tables are quite close together.
Best Seafood Pancake in Montreal! Love this little family ran restaurant!
I always call before going just to make sure they are open as opening hours/day might not be exactly accurate, but still highly recommend!
Came in at 8:30pm to a closed restaurant. Signs said that they close at 10pm. No explanation, woman just told us that it was closed.
A great little spot. Very polite & courteous service. & the food is fantastic. Seafood pancake (pajeon) was excellent; best I've had. Great balance of veg & protein with a great flavour & the perfect caremalized crisp bottom. The beef ribs (galbi) were rich & flavourful. Perfect marinade. & Bibimbap was delicious. Overall great experience.
Food is amazing, the seafood crepe is a must, although everything is delicious. Its a small place, so show up few minutes before 6pm when they open, otherwise you risk not having a spot to sit during first service.
Delicious food. Opening hours are irregular, but if it's open, go in & eat!
My father first took me to this cosy, fantastic spot about 10 years ago, & I've often returned with my daughter, friends, over the years. Really like the jokbal (something you don't make at home), all the pajeon options, & the various noodle dishes are always yummy. Plus tasty sides. All food is prepped fresh, with distinct flavours & textures. Street parking not too difficult. Anticipate a line up. Recommend highly.
Love this small family owned business. Best seafood pajeon in town, the place is very small & sometimes would have a line up but it's really worth it to wait in line. My kids love eating here.
The only thing is, if you decide to eat here make sure to check their google site first if they are open. Their operating days sometimes changes.
