The food is delicious & the decor is very calming, my only complaint is about one of the workers who seems to have a negative opinion when he isn't given a high tip. I have been to this place twice so far & he was our waiter both times..& after both meals he would ask for a tip. To which he was given one, but when he would look at the amount given he would proceed to complain & say things like how Hoshi is not a fast food restaurant, or like how the chef's & waiters work just as hard as them.
It sort of feels like he is pressuring customers to give him even more money than what we already have to pay when eating in large groups.Voir plus

Fantastic place to have Korean BBQ if you're not in a hurry. 2 hour seating time to enjoy all you can eat.... Just make sure that you order what you can finish (1.50$ for each uneaten item). Very cosy atmosphere & very friendly serviceVoir plus

I don't think ANY restaurant should be adding people's tips to their bill. This one unfortunately does, the manager said it was part of their policy once you come in, I'm not saying that it's their fault but this principle is just plain stupid, there is no absolute way for waiters to take accountability for giving bad service.
I understand that your waiters work as a group & tips are split, but if bad service is given from someone of your group, then your group should take responsibility for not giving the proper service.
It's principle for customers to tip, but if you give bad service then you deserve not to be tipped. It's part of your job as a waiter.Voir plus
