This place is okay. The workers are sweet funny & honest. If you dont have a reservation you are left waiting for quite a while. There is no where to wait or to sit except outside. Thank god they call you to come back in once a table is ready.
The food was okay. They have lots of sushi options which i like but we came for the barbecue & theres not many meat options. A downside for me was the grill, it was not hot at all our meats took a while to cook & the marinade was nothing to rave about. Our orders came out quite fast but quite funnily too. On the app it said 3-4 pcs so we ordered one each & we ended up getting one piece each item we ordered which was strange the dishes came out as if they were half eaten by another table. Also for a grill the ventilation was really horrible. I felt like i was getting full just from inhaling all the smoke in there.
For a'all you can eat' restaurant, I was expecting alot more than this & I've been to many of those. I feel let down, because they have the least food option & the sushis were just 😐... Let's just say they were sitting in the fridge for too long since the rice was dry. The service was good tho & the place sure looks nice, but seems like they dont have no airing system/fans so it is smoky in there & you will come out smelling like food. Sadly first & last time for us.
Très bonne qualité de sushi, mais avec aussi des options'pour enfants'. Les viandes à griller étaient excellentes!
I find myself at Hoshi almost every month-sometimes even more often depending on the craving. It's easily one of my go-to spots for Korean BBQ, especially when I'm with friends. We've never had issues walking in as a small group, but if you're going with more than four people, definitely reserve ahead since you'll need multiple booths.
Let me tell you, the service here is insanely fast. Once you place your order (which is done through your phone after scanning their QR code), the dishes start coming out almost immediately. It's honestly the quickest service I've experienced at any restaurant.
They used to have separate lunch & dinner menus, but now it seems everything is available all day-which is a win in my book. The menu is loaded with options, & they've even expanded it over time. Between the Korean BBQ, sushi, & skewers, you're getting a great variety. Most places would charge extra for skewers & other add-ons, but not here.
We come so often that the staff recognizes us as regulars, & they always treat us with top-notch service.
Out of 10, I would give a 5. Average. I have been to many many all you can eats in my life. This one was very disappointing. The food was too salty, the lettuce was soft & old. The food overall was not fresh. The website app was lacking. No garlic & barely any choices of sides( I was there for launch but still!). The rice was hard & not edible. The meat was all tangled which made it hard to cook. Sushi was okay. For 30 dollars there are millions of better options out there. The employees though were quick & efficient.
Was here last night with my boys
Really Fast service
A lot of options to choose from
Ill come again!!
I visit Hushi BBQ Coréen & Sushi regularly, especially when I'm craving sushi. I love their BBQ options, particularly the salmon, filet, shrimp, & calamari. The sushi buffet is diverse with a wide variety of types & kinds to choose from. Considering the quality & selection, the price is very affordable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious BBQ & sushi!
An all you can eat kbbq & sushi place in the west. I highly recommend to mostly order meat as their sushis are the reason I gave it less stars. The sushis are filled with rice & cucumber, they are way too big & will fill you up very fast. Plus the sushis just didn't taste good. The meat was better, sometimes chewy but tastes good. Lots of options of what to order & the skewers were really good too. I didn't like that the entire staff starts cleaning up by 9pm when they close at 10pm feels like you're being rushed to eat which is not ideal for this type of restaurant that has so much food. Plus you will smell like grilled meat because they have no air vents over the grills. & their soju are so overpriced. I'd go back maybe once a year at most.
Quite a wide variety of options & the food is pretty good. The sushi is what you would expect from an all you can eat that mostly focuses on Korean BBQ (the fish doesn't really taste fresh & lots of rice). The meats were a little chewy, but the taste was good. Service was very nice & quick. Overall not a bad place to go for some all you can eat in the West Island.
Good food & service, very much on par with other Korean bbq sushi places. Maybe a bit pricey for this kind of restaurant? Sushi ingredients are fairly fresh. The pork & beef options are a bit fatty, but still fresh.
