Fantastic place to have Korean BBQ if you're not in a hurry. 2 hour seating time to enjoy all you can eat.... Just make sure that you order what you can finish (1.50$ for each uneaten item). Very cosy atmosphere & very friendly service
We hated the concept Stupid annoying ordering system you have to order with your phone after scanning a a QR code or on of their tablets seriously No waiter to help you understand the menu or ask questions to. no traditional menu to order from & when the food comes raw, you have to cook it yourself on a hot plate in the middle of the table.not like traditional Korean restaurants where you can order something like kalbi ribs they bring it fully prepared & cooked by professional Korean chefs the fried chicken & onion rings did come already cooked because they don't have deep fryers at the table!
Walked in Hoshi with no reservation & no prior Korean bbq experience. The receptionist was very nice & found us a table even though it was a Friday evening, they gave us an hour & a half before the tables reservation would arrive. We get seated & the bbq gets lit. Electronic menu on your phone so you can order constantly is a nice way to do things. So I get a Sapporo pitcher (yeah, yeah, sue me) for the lady & I along with some veggies & meat. Everything arrived almost instantly. Sushies & other Asian style foods are available. Beef, pork, veal, chicken, shrimps & the likes & they also have seasoned skewers of the aforementioned meats. You got the typical Asian style American food also (heavily fried & pankoed items) All in all we ate to our content & the food was very good. 41.99$ per person plus the beer & tip got me just south of 150$ Kids eat for cheaper. Strong 4 out of 5, enjoyed it much, will return. Unrelated picture of the eclipse for visibility

First time here a couple of days ago & it was alright. I've had better korean bbq than this one. Variety of food could be better, I couldn't find anything noodles or fried rice on the menu. Just white 🍚. Service was good, no negatives there. Just know that you only have a max. of 2hrs to order & be done eating from the time you get seated. I most likely won't be back here again but it was good. & I'll recommend their mango ice cream to anyone that goes there. The best I've had anywhere that's all you can eat.
Quite a wide variety of options & the food is pretty good. The sushi is what you would expect from an all you can eat that mostly focuses on Korean BBQ (the fish doesn't really taste fresh & lots of rice). The meats were a little chewy, but the taste was good. Service was very nice & quick. Overall not a bad place to go for some all you can eat in the West Island.
Good food & service, very much on par with other Korean bbq sushi places. Maybe a bit pricey for this kind of restaurant? Sushi ingredients are fairly fresh. The pork & beef options are a bit fatty, but still fresh.
On December 29 at 5:30 p.m., there were 12 of us having dinner at Hoshi. We were divided into two tables. For our table we ordered soup, seafood, Korean BBQ meat & sushi. The soup, seafood & Korean BBQ meat were quickly served, but we noticed that the sushi was not served. We thought the staff was too busy & the sushi would eventually be served. However, after 1 hour we still didn't have any sushi, so we decided to inform the staff. Two waiters came to us & asked us which sushi were missing. We were very surprised that they didn't know what food was served & what food was missing. Then sushi was served. After that, a waiter (~20 years old, 1.65m tall, ~80Kg) came with a plate containing 3 pieces of spicy salmon & tuna Nigiri. We realized this plate was already served so we asked if it could be returned. The waiter took the plate back to the kitchen & came later with the same plate. He said in a mad voice that we must take this plate since it is prepared for us. We told them that if in the first place, they knew what food was served & what food is missing, this situation could not have happened. The waiter asked us why we were so frustrated & we responded that we didn't want to have the same plate twice & that if the service was good in the first place, this situation couldn't happen. He said a mistake could happen & he took the plate & taped it to our table "BANG" & left. We were all in shock to see this act of violence. We have never experienced this kind of attitude from a server in the past. This is unacceptable. We hope the owner can identify this staff & provide him with more training. If he is not aware of his horrible behavior, he will make another victim & it will damage Hoshi's reputation. We really like the food, but with this waiter's attitude we don't recommend this place. Food: 4/5, Service: 0/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.
Very FAST service. huge menu, you can choose from grilled section & sushi. very nice menu. definitely reasonable pricing. nice environment. a must go for in-table Korean style grill lovers!
