D'Oh! Genius concept, perfect execution. Homer's Doughnuts will strike a nostalgic chord in any millennial, younger boomer or hip Gen Z person that has watched The Simpsons in the past. For many this series comes with cherished memories of younger years. The branding is so well done throughout the place. The inclusion of the dining area with the free-to-play retro arcade games is awesome, although I'm wondering how often they need to clean it with all the sticky fingers that must touch it every day. As brilliant as the branding is - the exceptional quality of these doughnuts would make this a 5 star review even without it.
There is a great variety of dougnuts with some interesting flavours. The triple caramel was my personal favourite. The size of the doughnuts are massive too! They justify the premium price of the goods with the portions. Service was also really nice. My one piece of feedback for this place would be to get boxes that they can use for 2-4 doughnuts, because if you get 2-4 doughnuts you are carrying & disposing of an excessively large box made for 6.View more

We ordered the "les favoris de homers (6)" & we were expecting to receive 6 different flavours but only got 5 different donuts as one flavour was put in duplicate in the box. We were very disappointed that the store didn't but a variety of donuts that didn't include duplicates. It's quite obvious in the picture that the same donut is put twice. Most of the donuts were honestly really good. We are just very dissatisfied that we couldn't have the variety expected. On the picture online, they show a variety of 6 different donuts.View more

We visited Homers donut shop on Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal & it did not disappoint. The interior & exterior are vibrant & inviting, matching the variety of colorful donuts they offer. We tried several donuts, & they were all tasty. The crème brûlée donut was absolutely delicious, with a perfect caramelized topping. The apple fritter was flavorful, & the Boston cream was generously filled with a rich, tasty cream. Beyond the donuts, we couldn't resist trying their deep-fried crispy chicken sandwich served between two donuts (sorry no photo). It's as wild as it sounds, but the result was incredibly delicious It was messy, indulgent, & absolutely satisfying! My partner & I shared one, & it was the perfect amount. The staff were extremely patient & friendly, making the visit even better. We're still working our way through the donuts we bought, but so far, we're loving their light & fluffy texture. These donuts are more than just delicious, they're an experience! For a group, my suggestion is to get a variety. Pick some that you know you will enjoy, & pick some that you aren't sure of. Cut them into pieces & sample them all. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed some that I wouldn't normally choose. I put the leftovers in a Tupperware container & refrigerated. They kept very well. We enjoyed them to the last bite.View more

Bought a dozen here a couple days ago (Sep 1). These are giant donuts! Really like the texture & consistency of the dough. Very soft, easy to pull apart. They've got a wide variety of options, various gimmicks. I also like the quality of the chocolate used for the dip. The cashier was awesome, super cool guy & great service (PS, I'm the one you recommended the chocolate crunch donut to; you weren't kidding, haha). The donuts are on rapid turnover, they sell fast & they make them fresh. Price was very fair when considering other donut shops on the island. Excellent value. Thank you!View more

I have been there several times & they have consistently delivered fresh & delicious donuts. Great new donut shop in NDG on sherbrooke west & grand blvd .... great variety of choices & the donuts are huge ... the store has lineups & prices are reasonable for what you get ... there donuts are tops if not the best around now.... much better than the chain shops .... Went there today to grab doughnuts (I'm visiting from Toronto) & the place is so cute & clean. The variety of doughnuts is amazing & the family running it are so sweet & working so hard. Most importantly, the doughnuts are delicious!! They're also so reasonably priced! Back home doughnuts like this would cost around $5 each. Here you can get 6 premium doughnuts for $20!!
