Went here for the first time today, got some for the road trip/to take home to Toronto. The donuts themselves taste SO good. Light & airy, & topped perfectly. Visiting the shop was an experience in itself - enjoyed the theme & decor. The service was also great - shoutout to Ian, who was patient & personable while our group debated over which donuts to get. Exciting new donut shop with a great theme. Surprised, no one dared to use Simpsons' branding before. First visit, so far, not only great tasting but awesome looking fresh donuts. We visited Homers donut shop on Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal & it did not disappoint. The interior & exterior are vibrant & inviting, matching the variety of colorful donuts they offer. We tried several donuts, & they were all tasty. The crème brûlée donut was absolutely delicious, with a perfect caramelized topping. The apple fritter was flavorful, & the Boston cream was generously filled with a rich, tasty cream. Beyond the donuts, we couldn't resist trying their deep-fried crispy chicken sandwich served between two donuts (sorry no photo). It's as wild as it sounds, but the result was incredibly delicious It was messy, indulgent, & absolutely satisfying! My partner & I shared one, & it was the perfect amount. The staff were extremely patient & friendly, making the visit even better. We're still working our way through the donuts we bought, but so far, we're loving their light & fluffy texture. I've been to your location numerous times. I find that it's very difficult for me & I'm sure others to get inside your shop . I've mentioned it before & it's never been fixed . This morning a very nice gentleman came running over to help me step in & help me outside. If you could please make a ramp or even a few steps it would greatly help with getting in & out of the shop.View more

Slightly cheaper than other places & donuts are slightly bigger also. Good selection of flavors. Very addictive. Worth lining up.View more

Bought a dozen here a couple days ago (Sep 1). These are giant donuts! Really like the texture & consistency of the dough. Very soft, easy to pull apart. They've got a wide variety of options, various gimmicks. I also like the quality of the chocolate used for the dip. The cashier was awesome, super cool guy & great service (PS, I'm the one you recommended the chocolate crunch donut to; you weren't kidding, haha). The donuts are on rapid turnover, they sell fast & they make them fresh. Price was very fair when considering other donut shops on the island. Excellent value. Thank you!View more

I've visited homers, twice already. & both times, it devastated my taste buds. As well as their prices for the boxes of 6 or 12 is pretty decent, not expensive compared to any other donut shop. I highly recommend coming to try it out! Highly recommend; blueberry cheesecake, apple/cinnamon, skors, kit kat, & the chocolate crunch. Can't wait for them to open up soon at their location in the South Shore.View more

Great new donut shop in NDG on sherbrooke west & grand blvd .... great variety of choices & the donuts are huge ... the store has lineups & prices are reasonable for what you get ... there donuts are tops if not the best around now.... much better than the chain shops .... If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I've had a series of doughnut related mishaps the past few months on my journey for good doughnuts, & I almost gave up when this place opened, & I decided to give them a try. They did NOT disappoint. The doughnuts were fresh, they didn't have any of that rancid oil flavour that I've begun associating with doughnuts after trying so many bad ones from other places. They weren't too sweet, just the perfect amount of sweetness, & they're so fresh! The dough is soft & bouncy, & the flavours...so so good. I love apple fritters, & the apple doughnut from this shop is absolutely delicious, it have whole slices of apple! I was nibbling on them while I was talking with my mom & when I got to the whole apple slice, we both let out loud gasps. Ecstatic! I also got a creme brulee doughnuts, which was also delicious...crunchy top, had that delicious almost toasted marshmallow flavour...the inside had a thick cream, like a Boston cream doughnut. The last doughnut I got was the cookie monster doughnut, & even though it was so simple (just a variation of an iced doughnut), it was absolutely delicious. I regret not buying more!! This shop has become my new place to go if I'm craving doughnuts, & I still can't believe how delicious they were. I know there are some negative reviews, but new businesses are always bound to have some kinks to work through. By now, they've certainly worked through them, & these doughnuts to not disappoint!!View more

Oh My Goshhhhhhhh If you have not tired Homers donuts you need to try them ASAP. They are delicious!! I mean nothing like the other donuts around. They are beautiful looking & oh so fresh. The staff is incredible. I went while on crutches & they helped get me into the shop safely...helped me exit & brought my donuts out to the car for me. I highly recommend Homers !View more

I haven't been here, but I'll encourage the owner with a 5 star as I really want to go. I wanted to surprise my coworkers out of town with a box of doughnuts, but learned that I can't: The store only opens at 10:00 am, & closes at 5 pm. The store is currently running on a lot of hype, but when it eventually dies down, the owner will have to realise that all the other doughnut shops in town open at 6 AM. On the long run, this cannot become a vanity project which opens late & closes early. It will eventually have to compete on the breakfast circuit.View more
