As incredibly mouthwatering & delectable that those donuts look in that glass display next to the register as you're queued up waiting to order, I can't lie & say that it was as satisfying as I had expected. These donuts look good, but they are shockingly light &, well, kind of bland. It wouldn't have been a problem if there was a counter-taste to them, but there isn't. i ordered two Nutella donuts, a classic homer one, & a blueberry cheesecake one I believe. as a huge Nutella lover, this was definitely one of the sadder Nutella donuts I've had. It's okay, but the substance just wasn't there. There wasn't that drooling Nutella that would leak & smother me after I take a bite, but instead icing powder littered all over. The rest of them were the same, the same dough-ey taste with a bunch of icing powder. There was like a teaspoon of flavour that, in conjunction with the donut which was already quite flavourless to begin with, made the entire experience really bland. The flavours they come in are like a shell of what it should be. It should definitely be way sweeter or heavier of a taste, if that makes sense, & the donuts should have more to it as well! & let's be real, you're having a donut to indulge in a sweet treat, not to cut loose on calories. I want a donut that'll inflict my teeth with cavities & diagnose me with conditions right after I eat it. I crave it!!!!!!!!! The potential was definitely here but it fell short :(View more

I just bought 2 dozen of donuts today for my boyfriend's workplace. & it was a hit!!!! Every employee at the dealership where shocked on how beautiful & big the donuts were! Every single one of them was gone in a blink of an eye! The service at Homer's was great, the donuts were fresh & not too sweet which is amazing!! Definitely my go to place for donuts in MTL!! Such high quality donuts with a wide variety of flavours for an affordable price. A box of 6 cost 16$ & the donuts were HUGE. My favourites were the apple donut & the original glazed. The donuts were not too sweet & were fluffy melt in your mouth. We came on a Saturday afternoon & surprisingly no line.View more

The donuts are sooo good! We arrived around 10:30 & they were fresh & fluffy, so tasty. The apple donut was amazing & of course the cookie monster donut was adorable. Are you tired of gucci donuts that are baked? Finally, a place that got it right & lives up to the fame! If I am going to pay premium prices for donuts, I want my fry/oil's worth. Tbh dough, the prices are really not that bad. I would say a Homer donut is about the size of 2 krispy kreams. So really, a box of 6 Homers would be equivalent to about 12 Krispy Kreams...but not all donuts are made the same. Homer's is sooooooo doughy & soft. God bless gluten & oil. I believe that if the box lasted longer than a day, the donuts would still be doughy & taste fresh because they so big & moist. Surprisingly, their toppings & garnishes are not overly sweet...which is a curse because you don't feel as bad eating 3 in a row (remember 1 homer = roughly 2 Krispy Kream). Service is A1. Patient (eventhough I changed & swapped donuts half way throughy order), helpful & offered kool pink glaze sprinkle donut stickers to my kids. Retro arcade machines are free of charge, so my kids were totally fine while I was waiting in line. Parking is limited as it is street parking but I illegally parked in front of the store & ran in. Can't wait to go back.View more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I've had a series of doughnut related mishaps the past few months on my journey for good doughnuts, & I almost gave up when this place opened, & I decided to give them a try. They did NOT disappoint. The doughnuts were fresh, they didn't have any of that rancid oil flavour that I've begun associating with doughnuts after trying so many bad ones from other places. They weren't too sweet, just the perfect amount of sweetness, & they're so fresh! The dough is soft & bouncy, & the flavours...so so good. I love apple fritters, & the apple doughnut from this shop is absolutely delicious, it have whole slices of apple! I was nibbling on them while I was talking with my mom & when I got to the whole apple slice, we both let out loud gasps. Ecstatic! I also got a creme brulee doughnuts, which was also delicious...crunchy top, had that delicious almost toasted marshmallow flavour...the inside had a thick cream, like a Boston cream doughnut. The last doughnut I got was the cookie monster doughnut, & even though it was so simple (just a variation of an iced doughnut), it was absolutely delicious. I regret not buying more!! This shop has become my new place to go if I'm craving doughnuts, & I still can't believe how delicious they were. I know there are some negative reviews, but new businesses are always bound to have some kinks to work through. By now, they've certainly worked through them, & these doughnuts to not disappoint!!View more

Went there today to grab doughnuts (I'm visiting from Toronto) & the place is so cute & clean. The variety of doughnuts is amazing & the family running it are so sweet & working so hard. Most importantly, the doughnuts are delicious!! They're also so reasonably priced! Back home doughnuts like this would cost around $5 each. Here you can get 6 premium doughnuts for $20!!
