Just had a wonderful experience at Homer's Donuts!!! First, I am going to tell you that these are the BEST donuts in Montreal. Texture & taste is off the charts amazing. What makes this place even better is the incredible service from the passionate & knowledgeable staff that work here. Jarrell took great care of us & treated us like family. It's really so-so, if you like novelty food with an Instagram flair then I guess, yeah it's down your alley wholesome good, if you're into a nice good ole tastey classic donut you might be disappointed. They're not bad but not great best donut on the menu is the crème Brule donut the others are just average. Price is too high for average donut , but they are huge & fun to look at. People need to eat with their pallet not with their eyes.View more

Exciting new donut shop with a great theme. Surprised, no one dared to use Simpsons' branding before. First visit, so far, not only great tasting but awesome looking fresh donuts. We ordered the "les favoris de homers (6)" & we were expecting to receive 6 different flavours but only got 5 different donuts as one flavour was put in duplicate in the box. We were very disappointed that the store didn't but a variety of donuts that didn't include duplicates. It's quite obvious in the picture that the same donut is put twice. Most of the donuts were honestly really good. We are just very dissatisfied that we couldn't have the variety expected. On the picture online, they show a variety of 6 different donuts.View more

As incredibly mouthwatering & delectable that those donuts look in that glass display next to the register as you're queued up waiting to order, I can't lie & say that it was as satisfying as I had expected. These donuts look good, but they are shockingly light &, well, kind of bland. It wouldn't have been a problem if there was a counter-taste to them, but there isn't. i ordered two Nutella donuts, a classic homer one, & a blueberry cheesecake one I believe. as a huge Nutella lover, this was definitely one of the sadder Nutella donuts I've had. It's okay, but the substance just wasn't there. There wasn't that drooling Nutella that would leak & smother me after I take a bite, but instead icing powder littered all over. The rest of them were the same, the same dough-ey taste with a bunch of icing powder. There was like a teaspoon of flavour that, in conjunction with the donut which was already quite flavourless to begin with, made the entire experience really bland. The flavours they come in are like a shell of what it should be. It should definitely be way sweeter or heavier of a taste, if that makes sense, & the donuts should have more to it as well! & let's be real, you're having a donut to indulge in a sweet treat, not to cut loose on calories. I want a donut that'll inflict my teeth with cavities & diagnose me with conditions right after I eat it. I crave it!!!!!!!!! The potential was definitely here but it fell short :(View more

We visited Homers donut shop on Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal & it did not disappoint. The interior & exterior are vibrant & inviting, matching the variety of colorful donuts they offer. We tried several donuts, & they were all tasty. The crème brûlée donut was absolutely delicious, with a perfect caramelized topping. The apple fritter was flavorful, & the Boston cream was generously filled with a rich, tasty cream. Beyond the donuts, we couldn't resist trying their deep-fried crispy chicken sandwich served between two donuts (sorry no photo). It's as wild as it sounds, but the result was incredibly delicious It was messy, indulgent, & absolutely satisfying! My partner & I shared one, & it was the perfect amount. The staff were extremely patient & friendly, making the visit even better. We're still working our way through the donuts we bought, but so far, we're loving their light & fluffy texture. We finally tried this place out. I was hesitant at first because I kept hearing there was more donut than toppings. I'm glad I ignored those comments because the donuts were delicious. We purchased a dozen donuts for 4 of us. They lasted us a few days & still managed to keep the same soft texture & taste. If you want to pig out, this is the place to do it.
