They have a special on Wednesday, even though it's super busy, the waiter & waitress (especially Huong) are always pleasant to fill our requests. I strongly recommend Hô`Guom for their authentic Vietnamese dishes.
Maybe it's because it's a bit past noon, een though there are a couple of servers on the floor compared to the high number of customers, the waiters are slow to answer the needs of a table & slow to notice a table needs service. Young man with glasses is a bit cocky & offers poor service. I'm rather unimpressed both with the service & the quantity & quality of the noodles... especially when a bowl of pho is now $19. There is very little noodles for a big bowl of soup noodles even though the price is 19$ & it's the highest price in the area for vietnamese beef soup noodles i have seen. Less noodle & not as good of a quality as it used to, both for the quantity of noodles & beef in a bowl is less than before & the quality is not much better.
Service & food quality in this restaurant is very inconsistent. It changes depending if you come for lunch or supper. It feels as though has more attentive staff & better service. Very unimpressive for this visit unfortunately.
Best Vietnamese food I've eaten. The basil sauce was extraordinary. The soup was expertly prepared & full of savory thin sliced meat. Opt for the crunchy noodles - it's an absolute boon to the texture.
Excellent restaurant (apportez votre vin) asiatique mais principalement vietnamien, première expérience mais nous y retournons. First visit to this Asian (Mostly Vietnamese) BYOB restaurant . We loved it & will definitely return.
Such a good find on the South Shore! These two dishes are not commonly on the menu in Vietnamese restaurants: Bún ch? Hà N?i & Bún ?c.
Bún ch? Hà N?i (forgot to take a photo) was an insane discovery for me: smoky, freshly grilled pork, served with rice vermicelli & a big plate of herbs. You dip everything into a sweet & savory fish-sauce broth, & every bite tastes light, fragrant, & super satisfying.
Bún ?c was equally memorable in a totally different way: a comforting bowl of rice noodles in a tangy, tomato-based broth with snails. It's bright, slightly sour, & refreshing rather than heavy, especially with the herbs & garnishes mixed in.
If you're craving something beyond the usual ph? & bánh mì, this is definitely worth trying.
Brought home takeout on New Years Eve & we really enjoyed the meal. I had never had Vietnamese food before so I went to the restaurant to order our meal. I told the nice man at the counter that I was not sure what to get. Told him what we like & didn't like & he was very helpful. For our group of 4 adults & 2 young children he suggested 4 of their combo dishes all different so we could sample everything. I can't tell you if it was authentic Vietnamese food or not as it was our first time but I can say we all enjoyed it. Shrimp, chicken, beef & General Tau dishes were very good. Even had a little left over. The place look nicely decorated & while I waited, it looked like a nice place to have a relaxing meal. My wife & I will come back.
Authentic flavors & super fresh ingredients - the best Vietnamese food in town!
Authentic traditional Vietnamese dish you won't find elsewhere. Great taste, nice relaxing ambiance. Quick service. The Imperial roll with crab is one of their signature 👍dish.
While the restaurant was very beautifully decorated, the food & service were underwhelming.
I came here with my family for lunch & ordered two ph? ??c bi?t lunch special combos (came with 2 spring rolls per combo) for $22 & bún ??u m?m tôm for $25.
While I thought the combo was good value, the ph? fell below my expectations as it was too heavily spiced. I think they put way too much star anise, cinnamon & cardamom, resulting in your throat burning after taking each sip of the broth.
The spring rolls were crispy & okay, though the veggie-meat ratio is off (not enough meat in the filling).
Also, I was just not impressed with the bún ??u m?m tôm. For $25, I expect a bit more than just fried tofu & a few pieces of ch? m?c. There wasn't even any pork or intestine, which is usually very common in the dish.
Finally, the service wasn't the greatest. Our waitress sounded a bit condescending & didn't seem happy when taking our order for some reason.
Overall, as a non-native person, it's passable. But as a Vietnamese, I think many more improvements can be made moving forward.
Bún ch? Hanoï, bún ?c & g?i tôm. Authentic New Vietnamese restaurant in Brossard/Greenfield Park. A lot of asian cusstomers. Very good food & excellent service . Price is higher than usual but the food portion is also bigger. I will comeback!
Amazing. Servers were super nice & helpful. Food was great. Bubble tea is very good. New favourite Vietnamese restaurant.
