My visit was today (June 8), & I wanted to give a review of appreciation for the youngest looking gentleman working this morning.
After spending a weekend in Montreal for my first time, I found most people quite rude or cold (& I'm Canadian!). The staff member here was just so friendly, warm, helpful, & gave great service. We were glad to end our trip with him & this place.
The restaurant was very clean & despite being fairly busy, we got our food & drinks within 5 minutes. Bagels were delicious & a great price. We will make sure to come back here when we are in town next!
I got a bacon & egg bagel here & my god was it delicious. The staff was really sweet & friendly towards my foreign & poor non-french self as I tried to decipher their menu. its a nice little cafe to sit & relax at too, with a big front window to stare out at every little passerby that treads the streets below you. Lovely!
Friendly staff for those who can't read / speak French. Bagel sandwiches were good but a little pricey (~$13-15). Chai latte with macadamia milk & vanilla was so good I went back the next day & got another. I think the daily bagel sandwich specials they have offer a better value ($9).
For a cafe or lunch place where you want to take your time, chat with friends, or study, this is a nice option. The interior has brick walls & lighting that give a cozy feel. There is extra space towards the back with larger tables to study or a quieter place to sit. The coffee menu has several options. The cortado was lovely. There are vegetarian options available for a light lunch or sweets. The brownie & banana bread pastries were a bit sweeter than my normal taste but were also quite good. The staff were very friendly & nice. I feel welcome to return again.
The breakfast bagel is amazing Great service & friendly staff 😊 The only thing that shocked me is when I find out that the employees do not keep the tips on credit card / debit payments 😳

Very nice atmosphere with an even better staff. They were very friendly, nice, & patient. They keep a clean spot & the coffee was great. Breakfast sandwiches were excellent! Will definitely go back next time I visit Montréal.
This place has good food & drinks & the staff is always nice & friendly. I come very often to study & work. However, I was really disappointed to find out that the owner takes the tips given to the staff. This is an absolutely disgusting move on the side of the management. The staff is always nice & do a great job. Tips are given to the staff for their service & not so that the owner can make more money, especially in today's economy. People working the shift must get the tips. I hope this review actually makes a difference & people who are meant to receive their tips based on their performance actually do so. Can't believe there are still business owners who think it's okay to steal the tips of workers.
