Located in the heart of the old port, both the terrace & the interior of the restaurant have a very a very beautiful design & esthetic (ideal for a date). Everything tastes fresh & authentic, & the positions are very generous. It is my second time going to this restaurant au both times the service was perfect & very efficient. I especially recommend this place for all the pistachio lovers out there, it's incorporated in many meals with great taste! I recommend trying the Muhammara, the beef eggplant appetizer & main course, along with their lamb shank!View more
The food was amazing. Really tasty Lebanese plates. Even the service was amazing. Camila ensured that the service was top for my birthday. We created an amazing shared menu.View more
Insane food! Best Lebanese food in montreal. Loved the modern twist on traditional dishes.View more
Wow, impressed! The food was EXCELLENT. Authentically Lebanese & Syrian, while having a little smart twist. The presentation of the food & the place is great, & the service was 5-star. Honestly can't wait to be back. One of these places where you enjoy the whole experience of dining out.View more
Food was good but not great, for the price I would expect more flavors & a sense of creativity from the chef. If you want gourmet Lebanese just go to Sumac & spend 1/4 of the price. Service & atmosphere are great.View more
Great service, quick & food's amazing! good representation of Lebanese cuisine. Server was so nice.View more
The food was fantastic. Definitely recommend the labneh toast & fattoush salad. The servers were so friendly & they were very accommodating to our dietary restrictions & allergies. It's very pretty & clean on the inside & outside. One of the best Lebanese places we've dined at.View more
We sat outside & had a party of 7. Our waiter was friendly & was a joy to interact with. We had cocktails & the Beirut beer which were all fantastic. We shared a variety of dishes but the ribs were an absolute delight. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Lebanese food.View more
The restaurant was extremely nice. It was very well decorated & renovated in a way that showed the syrian, lebanese influence. The food was excellent, all in all it is a great place to go to eat. But it is a bit pricy.View more
Atmospheric Lebanese Muslim owned beauty of a restaurant. Smart flavor combinations & options for both meat & veg eaters. Lovely location & sweet staff- drinks that will cool off your soul.View more
The nicest terasse in the old port. My friends & I had a great time & cant wait to come back. Highly recommend sharing so you can try everything. The cocktails are amazing & the server Chris really knew his menu & even convinced us to try our first lebanese wine which everyone loved. Cant wait to come backView more
Very interesting, Lebanese with a slight twist, menu is small but the selection are good. The atmosphere is very nice, service amazing & welcoming. The weather was nice so we sat outside.View more
It probably is the best spot in the old port to grab some nice food & drinks. We ordered the muhammara, zaatar focaccia, kibbeh naye, soujouk, manti, lamb shawarma tacos & fattet batinjein - everything were delicious & portions were decent enough to share between 3-4 people at a reasonable price. As for drinks, we took the butterfly effect & the patron spritz, which were all nice as well. When I first drank the butterfly effect cocktail, I made a slight face because I found it too strong but it was my fault as I didn't mix it enough - but the lovely bartender immediately noticed it & didn't hesitate to offer me a new drink (to which I declined since it was my mistake & when mixed enough the drink is amazing). The waitors & waitresses were quick & polite as well. Service & food are 10/10. I used to always go to Damas but this might be my new favorite place to go for Syrian/Lebanese food, especially this summer when it will be terrasse season.View more
Very underwhelming, bland food, & overpriced. There are far better Syrian/Lebanese restaurants in Montreal & Laval; Damas, Daou, Alep, etc.View more
You won't regret it. Best spot in the area! I grew up with Lebanese food at home & this place hits the spot every single time!View more
Delicious authentic Lebanese food - the muhammara & soujouk are a must try! Service & ambiance were also exceptional - great spot for a special dinner in Old Port.View more
What can I say. Lebanese & Syrian food is the best, & Hayat proves it with delicious, mouth- (& eye-) watering dishes!View more
Absolutely delighted with my dining experience at this Syrian-Lebanese restaurant! The ambiance was charming, & the flavors of the dishes transported me to the heart of the Middle East. A special shoutout to our server Rou, whose dynamic & fun service added an extra layer of joy to our meal. Highly recommend this gem for a delightful culinary journey!View more
Hands down the absolute best lebanese food I've ever ate. 20/10 service was top notch!View more
Went there for a meeting with my business partner, we had the best middle Eastern meal we've had in a while. Seeing Lebanese & Syrian food in such an elevated but still rustic presentation was great. what was even better was the quality of the food. It was sublime. Service was great & the staff was lively & made us feel like family. We had drinks afterwards at the bar where I had my first ever tequila espresso martini. Its a must have.View more
Really lovely new place in the Old Port. Mix of Syrian & Lebanese cuisine with some Arabic music (most of the time) which was nice. The Fattoush, hummous stood out, but what was really special was their impossible kefta fatteh which was vegan! Amazing to see this as a option. Service was top notch, thanks to Gabriel & everyone there. Will certainly be backView more
Some of the best Lebanese food I've had! So fresh, flavourful & amazing ambiance. Thank you for a great night!
I was holding a business meeting in Montreal for 4 nights & Hayat was our best meal of the week. We have 2 vegetarians in the team & there were a ton of options for them. The hummus is absolutely delicious as were our mains which included beef & chicken skewers along with the short ribs which were exceptional. Service was the right combination of friendly, helpful & timely. We also had chance to sample our wines before trying which was greatly appreciated & even ended up ordering a Lebanese wine which we had never tried before. If you have the chance get the IXSIR Altitudes white wine....it was exceptional. Again this was our best meal of the week & really enjoyed our time there.
Highly recommend this new spot for a perfect fusion of Lebanese/Syrian food!
