The experience was amazing at Hayat. Our server Maxim was a great host, went above & beyond to insure a great service for us. The food was fantastic & every dish from starters to main were delicious & tasted like home. Would recommend to everyone & anyone I know, you should definitely book your important dates & anniversaries & everything in between at Hayat!

Wonderful place with really nice food , was obsessed with the Mojito btw! & gotta give it to our boy Otis , really made us feel comfortable , & being my birthday as well , really loved our dinner there , would recommend 100%
Found this place completely on a whim while looking for something a bit healthier, & I'm so glad we ended up here. They're vegetarian-friendly, which was a huge plus. I ordered the fattet batinjan with Impossible meat & it was genuinely incredible, one of those meals you keep thinking about after.
We sat at the bar since we didn't get a table, & honestly the service there was amazing. Kerry was so nice & fun to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The overall vibe of the place was great-warm, lively, & just a good energy. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered.
Highly recommend saving room for the Syrian ice cream. Absolutely worth it. Would 100% go back.
Je suis allée souper au restaurant Hayat pour mon anniversaire & j'ai passé une excellente soirée ! Le serveur était super sympathique & très attentionné. Les portions sont généreuses, donc je recommande de partager les entrées si vous êtes plusieurs.
Nous avons été agréablement surprises lorsqu'ils nous ont apporté un beau dessert pour mon anniversaire, sans qu'on le demande, une très jolie attention qui a rendu la soirée encore plus spéciale.
Le seul petit bémol : le commis passait très souvent, ce qui faisait qu'on manquait un peu d'intimité. Malgré ça, le service était vraiment excellent, & je retournerai sans hésiter, cette fois-ci avec ma famille pour leur faire découvrir l'endroit. ❤?

I went for my birthday dinner tonight & had a great experience with Otis. He put my whole table at ease & ensured we were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy an elevated experience with good food.

Incredibly delicious food ! The service was amazing, from being greeted at the door, attentive service on water & cleanliness, & the best of all was our server Hajar. She treated us like queens!! Highly recommend a lovely place for the family & date night. You have to try the Baclava pancakes!!!

I just had my bridal shower at Hayat Restaurant, & everything was perfect! The food, décor, & ambiance were amazing, so elegant & beautifully done. A special shoutout to our waitress Hajar, she was absolutely the best! So kind, attentive, & made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back with my family, & I highly recommend everyone to visit Hayat Restaurant!

The food was very well prepared & presented. The service was also top notch. I would highly recommend Hayat for anyone looking for upscale Middle Eastern food.
Our waiter Nathaniel was excellent & very helpful. Food was excellent as one would expect based on the price. Serving size was appropriate. Would definitely recommend.
I have to be honest here & I'm so pleasantly surprised that I found such a delicious breakfast place & not only in Montreal but in old Port of Montreal where there are so many tourist traps! @hayat.montreal I can confidently say is definitely not one of them.
This is the type of breakfast that I personally love filled with bold flavors fresh ingredients & more importantly that Middle Eastern flare I've grew up to love. Both times I was there it was nice enough to sit outside but even their indoor Decor is absolutely beautiful. They really pay an extreme attention to detail but be careful the bees there's a lot of sweet stuff & what they make so there are definitely attracted to it LOL.
The star of the show for me had to be the Chicken Fattet! A dish that I have had before but never as good filled with chickpeas rice tahini yogurt crispy Pita that was once upon on the top but I removed it to put it on the side to really show you the depth & levels of layers along with Walnut crumble & pine nuts. If this is your first time there would definitely recommend getting this dish!
Next we have the Soujouk, which is spiced Armenian sausage & a tomato sauce with some fingerling potatoes garlic aioli & parsley a dish that's a little bit spicy so if you're not used to it that would maybe steer away but if you're ready & up for the challenge this is an absolute Banger as well really flavorful eating with the pita or on its own a standout dish.
I'm happy to say this place has been now two times just isn't as consistent & I can't wait to go back for a third if I'm ever in the area again. Going to be my new breakfast Middle Eastern spot for sure!
It was my first time at Hayat Resturant, I enjoyed the food & the taste combinations between the western & midwestern cuisine. I recommend & I'd like to try more dishes in the future.
