I heard a lot about this place being the best poutine in Quebec, the fries & the sauce was very good the cheese was sliced which was nice & different the only thing i didn't like that some portions of the cheese was to salty which was annoying.
Grégoire in Mercier has the best poutine-absolutely delicious! The ambiance is warm & welcoming, & the students serving us were so polite & friendly. I also really appreciated their smooth waiting system for take-out orders-it makes everything fast & easy. Highly recommend!
This was my first & definitely not last time visiting resto Grégoire, I had a poutine size B & didn't even finish it. The poutine was steaming hot yet the cheese even though sliced stayed intact & squeaky meaning it was nice & fresh. The fries are perfectly cooked & golden while not tasting like overused oil, the employees are very friendly & on the ball with cleaning tables as customers leave, they have many slush flavours including banana! The decore is the cherry on top, I love the old school vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area or close by. Tons of seating indoors & out with sun umbrellas outdoors, lots of parking. Fast service.
This was a favorite spot of a friend. Finally got to try their poutine & I understand why. Great fries, great sauce & fresh cheese! It was first time having sliced cheese curds like that for me but a pleasant experience!

The poutine reminded me of my childhood back when my grandmother would watch me, she was very abusive both physically & verbally but damn could she make some tasty fries it almost was enough to dry up my constant tears, & now eating this again reminds me of her, & I hope she's looking up at me from hell with a big smile on her face seeing her grandson eating these delicious fries while dancing on her grave, grandpa was pretty chill though
First time I enjoyed the poutine. But this one was tasty with a good portion of chews & sauce. The burger finally tasted again as a burger should taste. Good grilled meat with big unions & vegetables. Loved it. Service is impeccable & friendly staff
All the food I've ever tried is delicious. I'm not a fan of their poutine, but I love their frite sauce. Usually very busy, but it's worth any wait. Staff are very friendly.

Update 01/07/2024: Today I ordered & have been told that there's no more Italian Poutine D. But that they put the same amount in the C format... unfortunately it's not true. There's a lot less & hopefully they bring back the D format, with a family of 5, the C size was not enough. Besides that, like my previous comment below, I always recommend this restaurant when someone is craving Poutine 😉 I have nothing bad to say. It's one of the best fastfood you could eat. Always fresh ingredients & the owner are so friendly & make you feel comfortable. I recommended this restaurant to so many friends in Montreal, they all drove all the way there & all of them told be it was amazing 😁😉. Love it!
We found this restaurant because it was listed as one of the best Poutines in Quebec. Living close by & riding our motorcycles we tried for the first time in May 2023 & have been back a few times. I am not a poutine fan but I really enjoy theirs. The fries & poutine sauce are tasty & their cheese is sliced thin. (Sorry no squeaky cheese here). Their jumbo burger is truly jumbo & juicy. All dressed is truly all dressed with several items piled high... onions, tomatoes, pickles, coleslaw, peppers & more. Their onion rings are pretty good too & come with a cherry glaze sauce that adds a different spin to a classic side. Their seating is lunch rooms style & they are always super busy but you never wait more than 10 min to get your order & we have never had an issue finding a seat. Their staff is always friendly & organized. Be mindful that they only accept interac or cash. A great place for some homestyle food.

I go there for years was always served good then I went the poutine sauce was over salty wasn't sure if it was me I asked the lady next to me she told me your right it's way saltier then usually I went to tell the ladies at the cash she did not care at all after spending 30$ better to go to belle province my friends thanks
Food is very mid, whoever some of these reviewers have never tried good poutine & it shows. Fries are ehh cheese is sliced weirdly sauce is good. Burger & poutine just taste cheap ingredient-wise. Atmosphere & service is good, but taste is king & this ain't it.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was honestly unrivaled for this type of restaurant (la belle province type of place but kind of more upscale). Employees opening doors, people at the cash are curteous, they won't accept any tips (even though they deserve it), they give you a little device that vibrates when the order is ready because on busy days you can wait up to 30 minutes for your order. They asked if I had placed an order through the phone, which I didn't know you could do, so probably best to do that on busy days.
We had poutines & onion rings. The poutine was delicious. The cheese was sliced horizontaly, which is unusual, but it was probably some of the best cheese i've tasted in any poutine. The gravy was very light on the salt & had a nice beefy taste & light brown color. The homemade fries were thinner than most places similar to this one but still great. They give you very generous ammounts of cheese & fries, but the cheese isn't double layered. The onion rings were great. To top that all off, the prices were very affordable for the ammount & quality of food you are getting.
The place itself is quite nice indoors & there are nunerous tables on the terasse that surround the building.
