The food was delicious! We shared Fritto Misto which is a plate with fried battered shrimp, calmar & zucchini with a dipping sauce. Then we had the lasagna Gino which was meaty & hearty, & the Alla Norma, with aubergine. The tiramisu is a must try! One of the best tiramisus i have ever had. We had the espresso martini & a glass of red wine. The staff was so friendly & helpful! Thank you Shawn, Josh, Jacob, Lean & Emilie ! They also have a terrasse to enjoy.
Always a solid choice, Gino's offers a focused & delicious menu. Dishes are consistently delicious & service warm, friendly, & efficient. Gino's lasagna & the Alla Norma shouldn't be missed for mains, but there is so much more to explore. The Fritto Misto & the focaccia are spectacular & the tiramisu is one of the best we found. Don't neglect the shareable meal deals; they are worth it!
Finally, it's options of multiple negroni variations is impressive, but the classico is still our favorite.

Le service était impeccable & l'ambiance vraiment chaleureuse. J'ai particulièrement adoré la généreuse portion de fromage râpé sur le plat principal, c'était un vrai régal. Tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
Melhores negronis de Montreal - super recomendo o negroni fraise & cardamome. Pedimos o especial para duas pessoas, excelente escolha. As entradas sao incríveis, a lasanha é ok, e a sobremesa de manga é a melhor do mundo.
Last night (Saturday June 20), my wife & I decided to go to Gino's for dinner to celebrate our anniversary (we also live just 2 minutes away from the restaurant). We had made a reservation for 7pm & arrived exactly on time. When we arrived, the restaurant was 3/4 empty. So, we asked the hostess/waitress if we could sit at one of the empty tables by the window. She refused, telling us that the empty tables were only available for parties of 3. We accepted her response & proceeded to sit at one (of AT LEAST 10!) 2-person tables that were empty. As soon as we sat, she came over to tell us (in her words):'you cannot sit here either because it is our restaurant policy to keep any 2-person table by the wall for people who reserved earlier. Since you made your reservation only last night, you don't have priority to sit at this table'!!!!! (I wish to make very clear that when we arrived, there were at least 10 empty 2-person tables, including at least 5 2-person tables adjacent to the wall).
Shocked by the hostess' illogical inflexibility & bad introduction to the night, we decided to leave & have dinner somewhere else. We wonder what Gino's management thinks about this situation.
Unfortunately, I can't speak of the quality of the food as we didn't have an opportunity to try it.
Went there with my 8-year old & 6-year old & it was great! The waitress really took care of us & interacted with the kids in such a nice way! & the lasagna is to die for!!
Hands down the best lasagna in town! Everything tasted incredibly fresh & clearly homemade, you can really tell the difference in the quality of the ingredients. To top it off, they have an amazing drink selection, & the entire atmosphere is so cozy & inviting. A must-visit!'
