The designer Jacques Gaspo from Foodtastic (behind La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe’s, Le Blossom, the new Nickels and Bacaro Pizzeria) developed Gatto Matto over a two year period. A revolutionary and Avant-Garde Art Deco concept with a flower bar theme that is a fusion between Chicago and Italy. Using premium materials designed and manufactured in Montreal, the elements marry themselves wonderfully. Bright and vibrant colors give a WOW factor that will make you feel like in a modern Milan hotel with a girly touch. The creation of the open kitchen concept never seen before in the Montreal area (in collaboration with Hagop Hagopian, director of operations at Foodtastic and expert in kitchen design) allows you to see the best chefs in the region at work. Menu présenté d'abord en anglais. La langue officielle au Québec est le français. Le menu anglais devrait être offert après. De plus, le repas-midi est très peu élaboré & aussi cher qu'en soirée. Le tartare de saumon est petit pour le prix...sans frites, sans pain . Malgré un bon accueil de la serveuse. On ne nous a jamais offert de dessert. Décevant. Dommage. C'est un très beau restaurant.

Très bon resto bon service belle ambiance ! J ai été hier avant la game du rocket ! Le seul point négatif le prix pour une bouteille de vin était différent sur la carte des vins que sur ma facture de 5.00$ De plus !!

De loin notre resto italien préféré! Même avec les mesures de distanciation sociale, l'expérience est aussi agréable qu'avant : nourrriture excellente, service sympathique & courtois, ambiance chaleureuse. Quand on veut se gâter & passer une belle soirée, c'est au Gatto Matto qu'on va!

I had the tuna crostini & Al Pesto white pizza & it was soooo good. Definitely will go back & try the pasta. My friends ordered some pasta dishes & it looked so delicious. Our waiter was very nice & always asking if we were happy with our dishes. Even the owner came by to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. A must restaurant to try in Laval.

This restaurant has excellent food, excellent ambiance. I suggest the salmon & tuna tartare! The drinks are great, the gelatto too. The soap in the bathroom smells like roses, adds to the restaurant's theme!
The free parking is a plus!

J'ai adoré mon expérience de A à Z. À commencer par le décor qui est tout simplement magnifique. Chaque détail est minutieusement pensé. C'est un vent de fraîcheur à Laval, enfin !! La nourriture était excellente, j'ai mangé les meilleures Gnocchis depuis longtemps. Bien qu'elle était volumineuse, j'ai terminé mon assiette jusqu'à la dernière bouchée ! Le staff était souriant & poli, je vais y retourner sans hésité !
