The food was a serious disappointment - the boat noodle ayuthaya was absolute trash, while my companion's kad prakow (rice with chicken/basil stir fry) wasn't too much better. Given how stylish & aesthetically calming this spot is, it's better for grabbing a quick drink before scampering off elsewhere to eat.View more

Un endroit presque secret en plein centre-ville avec un toit en verre qui fascine. Mon ami avec qui je suis allé soupé a vécu plusieurs années en Thaïlande, & pour lui c'est définitivement à Montréal l'endroit qui propose la cuisine thaïlandaise la plus authentique. Nous nous sommes régalés avec les kuai tiao & en dessert le bâtonnet de riz à la mangue est un délice. Coté décoration, même les toilettes sont dépaysantes.View more

Cool little hidden Thai gem in Montreal. I came with a group of friends & everyone enjoyed their meal overall. I ordered the Baa Mee Moo noodles (without soup) & it was very tasty. I also thought the price was fair. Though some other items on the menu did have prices that I thought were of less notable value. Overall though, I was happy with the food. It tasted authentic & the portion size was sufficient for me. Though some others did order extra rice. Service was also friendly & without too many delays. Finally, the atmosphere is nice as there is a glass roof & many botanicals throughout the space that give it a nice south east Asian vibe. I would return here in the future. Recommended if you're looking for a Thai spot to dine.View more

The food is really good there, I enjoyed it a lot. The curry was flavourful but could be a bit heavy depending on a person's taste. The meat in the curry (chicken) was soft, juicy & tender. As for the Pad Thai, the noodles were perfectly done, not overcooked or undercooked, just the right amount of chewyness. The drink we took was the Thai Milk Tea, it's amazing if you like bubble tea. The ambiance was cozy & relaxing, going there when there's sunlight makes a difference since they have a glass ceiling. Service was good too, very fast & kind. It's to be noted that the food size is smaller than a regular meal that someone would eat in my opinion. Nonetheless, I'd recommend this place to give it a try if you like Thai food!View more

Un superbe endroit (vraiment) avec un bon service mais les plats sont vraiment ordinaire surtout pour le prix, le cocktail Mule était bon par contre. Le pad Thai vegan était super décevant je ne recommande pas du tout, manquait de goût & d'amour avec si peu de tofu. La personne avec moi a aussi trouvé son pad see ew bien normal pour un prix dérisoire. Allez s'y pour les drinks & la beauté du lieu mais pas pour la nourriture.View more

I was excited to dine here after having heard some positive things about the restaurant & I couldn't be more disappointed with my experience. The service was very lacklustre; the hostess / waitress couldn't care less that we were there & did not interact with us once during our meal. From the moment we got in to the moment that we left, the atmosphere was very lacking, & we did not receive so much as a hello / bonjour from the hostess when we got in. At no point was our water refilled & I would have ordered an additional drink after I finished my first one...had I been asked if I wanted anything else to drink. It took over 20 minutes to get their attention after finishing our meal to pay. The table next to us had similar issues & had to go to the bar & request to pay there for the staff to even notice that they existed. Normally I could excuse poor service if a place is busy, but there were 4 other tables in the entire restaurant at the time. The food was okay, not anything to write home about. Portions were average, bordering on small, & bland overall. The food could have been season more & the flavour profile wasn't the boldest. The only decent part of the night was the drink, but again...didn't even really get to try more than one due to the poor service. No matter how nice a restaurant looks visually, if the service is lacking & minimal effort is put into the atmosphere, the experience simply isn't worth the time or money. If you are reading this review, I would only ever go here for a drink & a view of the atrium but there are so many other places that offer drinks with better service / views.View more

The decor & space is beautiful, but that's about it; the food was underwhelming & bland but the biggest turn-off was the service. The staff was disinterested at best & rude & incompetent at worse. Really disappointing since we had high hopes. Won't be back & won't recommend.View more

We used to eat Thai food at Mae Sri in other location, we could feel authentic experience & taste. However, this branch of Mae Sri is different, the recipe is totally different from the original Mae Sri we visited. The soup of the noodles is very diluted. As a Thai person, i would recommend the restaurant to change the chef or improve the taste to be match with the other branch.View more

My favourite Thai restaurant in Montreal! 📌Crispy Pork Belly With Egg Crispy pork belly, fresh chilies, & asian kale. I wish the portion is bigger because it's so delicious. 📌Stir Fry With Thai Holy Basil & Egg Ground pork, long beans, Thai basil, & red chilies. I love mixing the egg yolk with rice to make it tastier. My all time favourite Mae Sri dish! 📌Thai Iced Coffee With Condensed Milk Get obsessed with condensed milk in all drinks.View more

Very nice restaurant with a garden atmosphere (the name gives it away lol) The service is quite nice & the waitress we got was so patient & attentive. We ordered different appetizers to share & multiple main dishes. We asked for spicy & it was SPICY! My fave are definitely the pad sew, pad kra pao, & fried chicken. The cocktails are beautiful & taste great. Overall excellent experience. We must go back & try the crispy pork belly.View more
