EDIT: i came back here with my family & the experience was just awful. two of the three dishes we ordered were incorrect, one of which was under the vegan section of the menu but in reality was not... ?? very misleading. & don't order the hot pot -- what we received was a barely warm bowl of soup placed above a tealight holder for aesthetics only. how you can call that hot pot, i have no idea. The food was bland, which is surprising for a thai restaurant, & the service was slow & unpleasant as well.
After years of coming here regularly & this being one of my favourite restaurants in the city, i will not be coming back. It's a shame, because the ambiance is truly lovely & the interior is very well decorated. This experience really ruined my impression of the restaurant for good
Original: the food was so delicious & the service was absolutely incredible. if you're looking for alcohol, try the thai green shot - you won't regret it! five stars all around.View more
Very good food with an even better vibe (great music selection. The playlist was on point). Lots of great options as well. I had the Baa Mee Moo noodle soup & it was fantastic.View more
Nous sommes venus mardi midi & avons pris un pad thai & une soupe tom yum, c'était très bon. Merci à Justine pour ses excellents conseils & sa gentillesse !View more
First time trying Thai food & it did not disappoint. I tried the seafood noodles soup & pad thai & they were a treat. The spring rolls were also very tasty.View more
I got the beef noodle soup, sooo flavorful. My friends all enjoyed their dishes as well (boat noodle soup & the pad see ew). I loved the addition of fried garlic & the spice level was great. We came on a Sunday evening & while busy, they quickly found a table for us out front. Less vibey than in "the garden room" but quiet enough on a summer day.View more
Spring rolls good Papaya salad medium watery Braised beef soup smiley , the quality of the meat not as expected . I took one small bite from the meet I left all the plate Chicken curry medium Beef noodles soup was good . Based on me & my personal evaluation I will not come back. ThanksView more
Really lovely, great service from our waitress. The kitchen was slow but it was busy. If you're into soup, you need to try the braised beef soup. The broth is delicious. I will come back to eat it again! Also the mango sticky rice is great :)View more
Beautiful restaurant with plenty of light & greenery. Cute patio for the summer as well. My brother has celiac & they accommodated us & showed us a few items on the menu that would be safe for him! The food is excellent - but somewhat inconsistent. I came once when it wasn't as busy & ordered the pad Thai. It was delicious & flavourful. However, I came back again on a busier night & I found it to be a bit dry. The soups are insane - packed with flavour, protein & veggies. Everything a good soup should be. I recommend the boat noodle soup, the Tom yum & the Ba Mee Moo soup. Definitely recommendView more
The restaurant is beautiful, the braised beef noodle soup is outstanding & so was our server Benjamin. I wish I lived here, I would be a regular!View more
We are so happy to have decided to try this place! The atmosphere was fun, the place looks really cozy, our server Benjamin was great & the food was incredible! Best meal we had in a while. Try their braised beef soup, you won't regret it!View more
Great terrace & food. Their dessert with matcha was amazing. However I didn't love the meat in my soup. Terrace is super pretty.View more
It was good & tasty. But my curry soup with vermicelli wasn't worth 22$ with 2 sip of soup & 3 balls of vermicelliView more
The tom yum soup might just have knocked pho off the #1 spot on my soup list.View more
First time I went there, the soup I ordered had improperly-cooked noodles. Second time, another soup - this one was OK but gave me a stomachache afterwards. The macaron dessert is a total waste of money: you get two tiny macarons for 11 dollars. Not even remotely worth it.View more
View more
Cool little hidden Thai gem in Montreal. I came with a group of friends & everyone enjoyed their meal overall. I ordered the Baa Mee Moo noodles (without soup) & it was very tasty. I also thought the price was fair. Though some other items on the menu did have prices that I thought were of less notable value. Overall though, I was happy with the food. It tasted authentic & the portion size was sufficient for me. Though some others did order extra rice. Service was also friendly & without too many delays. Finally, the atmosphere is nice as there is a glass roof & many botanicals throughout the space that give it a nice south east Asian vibe. I would return here in the future. Recommended if you're looking for a Thai spot to dine.View more
L'endroit est vraiment magnifique. On adore la décoration botanique, la luminosité & la beauté du lieu. La nourriture était correct sans plus mais le mocktail coconut était une belle découverte. BAA Mee Moo SoupView more
We used to eat Thai food at Mae Sri in other location, we could feel authentic experience & taste. However, this branch of Mae Sri is different, the recipe is totally different from the original Mae Sri we visited. The soup of the noodles is very diluted. As a Thai person, i would recommend the restaurant to change the chef or improve the taste to be match with the other branch.View more
The food was delicious, diverse, & filling but not at all in a "food coma" sort of way. Very well-balanced. The interior & the atmosphere were lovely, perfect for a date or night out with the gals! We had the Baa Mee Moo Soup, & the Thai Braised Beef Soup, which we both really enjoyed. We also had two of the Cold Thai Tea drinks, & they are 100% worth ordering alongside your meal.View more
beautiful decor! The service was pretty quick & the food was delicious! I ordered both the dry & soup noodles but recommend soup noodles for more flavour! what stood out to me was their beautiful cutlery - like in a fine dining restaurant! Definitely coming back for more especially seeing how reasonable prices areView more
View more
*** Come again to La Garden room , the second time in a month, fall in love with the soup noodles ! At the end of the meal, add a bowl of Thai steam rice, & have a mouthful after it has absorbed enough soup, spicy & happy, too satisfied!
Impeccable!
Put it on your top list!View more
