I had a great experience at Fung Shing Chinese Restaurant with my family while visiting Montreal! The food was really good - everything was fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with care. On top of that, the service was amazing. Especially loved the roasted duck! The staff were friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. It's definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for delicious Chinese food & great hospitality. Looking forward to coming back again!

As a tourist from Toronto, Ontario this is the best asian restaurant in downtown Montreal. The service & the quality of foods are great! I strongly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Very satisfied.
What an amazing dining experience! We visited as two couples & were impressed by every dish we tried - especially the appetizers & sides. The restaurant was lively, creating a great atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, & attentive from start to finish.
This was my second time dining here, & after coming back, I can confidently say it fully deserves its 5-star rating - if not more. I would gladly give it a sixth star if I could.

After a long day of sightseeing, our group of nine stopped by Fung Shing. Because we were a large group, reservations are recommended.
Once seated, the service was relaxed & well organized. We never felt rushed, & the dishes arrived exactly as requested - even when we asked for most of them to come out at the same time.
If you're visiting Montréal, Fung Shing is absolutely worth a visit. With 50 years of history in the city, it's truly a Montréal classic.

Went for lunch while visiting Montreal with my partner & was our favorite meal! Service was amazing, all the food tasted delicious with great portions & the house red wine was 10/10. Would recommend :)
If you're ever in Montreal, you have GOT to give this a try. Just thinking about here makes me hungry. The tea is great & flavorful & the food is soft & yummy. Would DEFINITELY come here again & recommend.

First time here & the food is delicious & so fresh! We ordered takeout & everything was speedy & smooth! I will try my best to come back the next time i'm in town. The service was amazing, the restaurant was tidy & the food was over satisfactory. I recommend this place very much!!
Amazing service & such kind people! The food was absolutely delicious-every bite was full of flavor. We'll definitely be coming back, & I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic, high-quality Chinese food.
Food - 5/5 - My partner & I ordered an array of dishes & everything was served Fresh & hot. Good value for the large portions you get. Food was delicious & hot the spot.
Service - 5/5 - Was promptly seated during the end of dinner rush. We got our food quickly. They helped us pack up the left overs & even provided plastic bags to wrap the containers so they don't leave, plus a small reusable bag to carry out multiple containers. Tea was provided. My partner, being of Chinese decent, was welcomed & asked if he spoke mandarin & the employees (maybe owner or related to owner) spoke with him.
Atmosphere - 4/5 - It isn't the fanciest place nor does it have much for decor but it has the vibe of a good Chinese restaurant.
Overall - 5/5 - I thoroughly enjoyed their food & service. Conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown & close to bus stops. I recommend giving them a visit if you are in Montreal & craving a good Chinese meal. With an expansive menu there should be items for all to enjoy.

A real find of a restaurant Very good well prepared meals as authentic as it gets Impressed with their fast efficient service which was welcoming as well It is a fairly nice decorated additionally with rich consistent wood paneling & matching wallpaper giving a nice atmosphere to dine Recommend this place Worth a visit !!!!
Je suis un habitué de ce resto, j'y vais régulièrement depuis 25 ans. Vous cherchez un resto chinois? C'est la place!! Les prix sont raisonnable le service est ultra rapide. Je vous recommande le porc a l'aigre douce & le boeuf au gingembre.
