Service excellent. & produits d'immense qualité !!!! Avec ma conjointe nous avons capotés. Les pizzas sont les meilleures de MTL & certaines pâtes sont servis avec la meule directement devant les clients.
Ma préférence étonnamment revient à la soupe de courge 😍😍
Very disappointing experience at Trattoria Fugazzi.
NO FAMILY FRIENDLY
We made our reservation in advance & clearly indicated that our party included a 4-year-old child & an 11-month-old baby. Despite this, we were assigned a long bench-style table without back support, which was far from ideal for a family dining with a baby requiring a high chair.
The issue was not simply the table itself. It was the complete lack of flexibility & customer care once the concern was raised.
When we arrived, there were regular tables with chairs available, yet we were told they were reserved. We then proposed several reasonable alternatives: moving to another section, repositioning our group, or simply adding a chair at the end of the table. Every suggestion was refused.
When we explained that the baby seat provided is intended to be secured to a chair with a backrest, the manager's response was dismissive & surprisingly confrontational. Rather than trying to find a solution, the discussion became about defending the restaurant's position.
I want to recognize Edgar, our server, who was professional, courteous & did his best throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the management experience completely overshadowed his efforts.
A restaurant does not have to guarantee a specific table, but when customers clearly indicate that they are arriving with young children & a baby, some level of planning, flexibility & hospitality should be expected.
Based on this experience, I would not describe Trattoria Fugazzi as a family-friendly restaurant. What disappointed us most was not the seating arrangement itself, but the attitude of management when a legitimate concern was raised.
The owners should seriously reflect on whether this is the level of customer service & management they want representing their establishment.

I'm a fan of Fugazzi & its concept - the food, the vibe, the brand. This review comes from someone who wants to see them do better, not tear them down. As I love their other restaurants & bars (Atwater Cocktail Club, Milky way, Bon Delire, Barroco)
We came as a group of 6 adults with 2 babies & had reserved accordingly. We were seated at a bench table, which is simply not workable with infants - no safe anchoring for booster seats, no flexibility, no space to manage the logistics that come with young children. When we raised it politely with the manager, she was defensive rather than empathetic, essentially telling us there was nothing she could do & leaving it at that. No apology, no attempt to make us comfortable.
The booster seat they offered was designed for chairs - strapping it to a bench defeats the purpose entirely & raises a real safety concern.
This is a broader issue in Montreal's restaurant scene: the gap between food quality & genuine hospitality. A great restaurant isn't just about what's on the plate - it's about how guests feel from the moment they walk in. Fugazzi has the bones to be exceptional. But moments like this remind you that customer service culture still has a long way to go.
I'll be back - because the food earns it. But I hope management reads this & raises the bar.
We celebrated my partner's birthday at Fugazzi with a group of friends & had such a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing - everything we ordered was full of flavour & the portion sizes were really generous. Great value for money, especially for the quality of the food & atmosphere. The vibe was lively & fun, making it the perfect spot for a birthday dinner. We'll definitely be back!
Service dynamique & avenant! excellente pizza, seul ennui: les haut-parleurs à chaque table, le volume est trop élevé même au plus bas, on doit lever le ton & ça devient bruyant!

I went with my husband to celebrate my birthday. I had expectations about the caccio e peppe pasta, & I loved it. So creamy & tasty. It would be good if you serve it with bread to enjoy the sauce in the bottom of the dish. It is really good 😊
As appetizers, we ordered the burrata with prosciutto & arancini. They were really good. We took the dessert to go because we couldn't eat any more.
I loved the decoration on the ceiling. I will come back to taste the pizzas!!
Excellent !! La cuisine salée est incroyable (un peu moins les desserts). Je vous recommande très vivement les pâtes préparées devant vous dans la meule de parmesan ! Personnel agréable & service rapide malgré le monde. Adresse à retenir !
This place overall has a great deal from 5-7pm (3 course meal for 35$). However the food wasn't fantastic (you get what you pay for) We had the tartare & caesar salad as our apps & they both were okay but pretty bland. The tartare made both me & my partner sick after eating it when leaving the restaurant (so would not recommend this app). We also had the pizza & risotto as our mains. Pizza was underwhelming considering it's what they are'know for.' Pizza was super thin & doughy & just wasn't pleasant to eat. Risotto was dreamy chewy & had croutons on the top? But no croutons on the salad which I thought was interesting. Dessert was the better course however the tiramisu had too much coco powder on top it felt like I was doing the cinnamon challenge. Service was okay but not spectacular. Our food came out fast but all at once, & the sever rarely checked in besides for the bill at the end. Unfortunately will not be back & would not recommend.
AMAZINGGGG RESTAURANT!
The food is simply marvellous, everything is so delicious, fresh & well served. The desserts are very tasty as well. Loved their special'menu decouverte', highly suggest taking that option. It comes with an entree, a main plate & a dessert.
Great experience at this restaurant. The staff is very kind, the service is fantastic, & the food is excellent. Truly recommend this restaurant!
