Review Summary

Reviews portray Fous Desserts as a bakery with strong highlights and some inconsistencies. Positive notes center on excellent croissants and chocolatines, distinctive ice creams, and friendly staff in many visits, while some describe a welcoming atmosphere with warm service, yet others report occasional unfriendly moments. Desserts with Japanese-French fusion are praised for unique flavors and textures, including matcha and black sesame options, though a few items feel overpriced or not as fresh as expected and cakes or bûches have been misdated or unavailable. Availability and presentation can disappoint, with photos not always matching reality and certain flavors such as yuzu or cardamom dominating the balance. Overall, Fous Desserts is viewed as a notable destination for pastries and desserts in the city, offering memorable bites but with caveats about consistency, value, and service.

Highly enjoyable cafe for an afternoon snack. Outstanding pastries - got a Chaussons aux pommes. Enjoyed the sesame latte as well.

Everything is great, one of my favourite spots for pastries & baked goods in the city. Coffee is also very good. Love this place!

Great selection of warm drinks. I had the chance to try their hojicha latte with soy milk. They have many vegetarian friendly desserts from macha-almond croissants to yuzu flavored chocolates, Unfortunately apart from drinks & a small selection of sorbets, there weren't any plant-based pastries or cakes. Nonetheless, it's a pretty unique fusion (Japanese-French) to see for a bakery.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a coffee shop. Next door had a weird getting but here was super friendly & helpful. The lady let me try some of their ice creams & the black sesame was so good. The matcha & hojicha you can tell have really tea powder in them. I ordered a chai which they make fresh & is in the another, slight spice side. I also ordered a shot of decaf. I thought they had wifi but they do not so I couldn't work here. They also sell chocolate & pastries which looked & smelled really good.

Perfect place to visit for that morning pastrie/coffee. I have been to a lot of places & sampled their croissants, & this place is a top 5 location in my mind. I always go out of my way to visit. They also have some regular & Asian flavors for ice cream. The Black sesame is always a must, & somtimes they even have Houjicha. Ps. Staff deserve a huge Christmas Bonus! 😉

Chocolatier Fous Desserts is a haven for chocolate lovers. With customizable chocolate richness percentages, the expertise of the staff shines. The menu extends beyond chocolates to include sorbets, pastries, & a captivating selection of Japanese teas & items. A delightful destination for diverse & exquisite treats.

One of the best bakeries in town! I've always heard France had amazing pastries but when I went to Paris, I realized I had similar quality right at this place
