Fous Dessert is an excellent all-around bakery, the best I've had in Montreal. I love that they have a diverse offering; pastries, breads, cookies, chocolate, drinks. Their cakes are divine, & even their take-home tea & infusion selection is awesome (highly recommend the hibiscus 🌺). They also have some of the best, well-balanced gelato in Montreal, specially the strawberry 🍓.

My only suggestion is that I wish they were open until a little later in the summer. Or, there could perhaps be an ice-cream cart outside until 7-8 pm at least. 🫶🏻 We would love to enjoy the ice-cream after work on the weekdays or even weekends, but it's difficult if the store closes at 6 pm :(

En ce dimanche 16 août 2026, j'ai acheté, à votre étal du marché public au métro Laurier, un croissant amande qui datait, au mieux, de la veille & peut être bien de vendredi. On ne m'y reprendra plus.

Excellente découverte ! Les desserts sont très bien réalisés, avec une belle présentation & des saveurs équilibrées. Mention spéciale pour la glace au sésame noir, qui est vraiment délicieuse & vaut le détour à elle seule. Le choix est un peu limité, mais la qualité est clairement au rendez-vous. J'y retournerai avec plaisir pour goûter le reste de la carte.

J'aime beaucoup Fous Desserts & je suis cliente depuis des années. Cependant, lorsque je vois cette affiche devant la porte, je m'attends à pouvoir commander & déguster un « parfait » comme celui présenté sur la photo.?J'ai essayé de le commander à trois reprises, mais on me dit systématiquement qu'il n'est pas disponible.?Je trouve donc que cette publicité peut prêter à confusion & n'est pas tout à fait honnête.
