Dude this might just be the best egg noodles in Montreal. I've tried so many spots, this place is the winner. It's amazing. Everything is delicious. Had the
Szechuan dry noodles, the bone broth, the beef, the pork & their coconut curry soup. My goodness, all immaculate!!! I'm coming back for that coconut curry noodle soup, it's to die for. It's jam packed! Please give this spot a try, you won't regret! We need great noodle spots!!!
Great noodle bowls - the quality is definitely there. We ordered the Coco Curry & the Khmer noodle, & both were very tasty, rich, & full of flavor.
That said, considering it's more of a pickup-style concept, the price point feels quite high for the neighborhood. While the food quality & flavors justify part of it, there's no real service experience to match the price.
Overall, excellent food, but the value doesn't fully align with the setup.
Incredible food, I got the coconut curry soup bowl to go & every part & flavour of the soup is amazing with handmade noodles! The egg is incredibly creamy & slightly sweet & the additions of tofu & other like shrimp makes it satisfying
I tried their coco curry, Jacarta noodles & the beef rendang. The noodles were delicious. You can tell the broth was simmered well, giving it a deep, rich flavor. The beef rendang tasted good as well, but for the price, it felt a bit expensive since it uses beef strips (instead of the traditional beef chuck) & the portion of meat was quite small.
I have ordered takeout here twice now, & both times the food is excellent. We've tried the beef Taipei & curry coco. Ingredients are fresh & the broth is flavourful. There is limited seating in general, so I can't speak to the atmosphere or dine in experience. Service is friendly. Takeout packaging is reliable.
FooFoo Noodz is a tiny, cozy neighborhood spot, just a few chairs & mostly takeout, but the food carries real weight. The noodles are fresh enough that you taste the difference right away.
The Coco Curry has become an obsession for me. Even the cashier picked up on the fact that I never order anything else & gently tried to push me into exploring the menu, but I keep coming back to it. Rich, comforting, perfectly seasoned.
It feels like a family run operation with a model that could easily scale. Simple menu, strong execution, food that keeps you hooked.
The food here is absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend the coco curry !
This is what a bowl of noodles should be about. Amazing food. So much flavour. You can tell the chef puts a lot of love into his food. Nice to have house made noodles. Can't recommend this place enough. Came all the way from Toronto. Tried the coconut curry, Cambodian dry noodle & Taipei Noodle. All different but delicious. Add the homemade sambal 🔥🔥🔥
Tried this new spot today with my friend Sarah, & let me just say… this place is noodles first, no shortcuts.
Most things here are made from scratch…bouncy egg noodles, rich broths, & garlic oil that coats everything in this deep, cozy aroma. You can tell they really care about the details.
Here's what we tried:
🍜 Jakarta Noodles
Homemade egg noodles tossed in garlic oil (so fragrant!), with sweet soy-braised chicken, mushrooms, & yu choi. It comes with a light chicken soup on the side that you can pour over. This one was the most comforting of the bunch, & the chicken was super tender without being too fatty. Loved the little heat from the sambal too.
🥩 Taipei Beef Noodles
This one had great flavor & texture! Especially the spiced beef bone broth that comes on the side, plus crispy garlic & coriander. But heads up: the beef was a bit fattier than I personally like. If you don't mind that, you'll probably love it!
🍛 Coco Curry (my favorite)
This bowl had everything: tofu, pork belly, fish balls, shrimp, chicken, & more.. all swimming in a creamy coconut curry broth. It was spicy, savory, & super rich in flavor. A total standout for me.
I also appreciated that all the broths come on the side so you can mix it in at your own pace. Everything felt fresh & really fun to eat.
Foxy Tip: Don't skip the sambal & chili oil. A little goes a long way, & it makes each bite pop.

This meal was comped as part of a media tasting - sharing my honest thoughts above. 🫶🏽
Loved the food here, owners were super nice too! The Szechuan dry noodles & coconut curry were my favorites!
