What an amazing bowl of soup I couldn't believe how great it was & how much toppings it came with. Really friendly staff & a delicious meal. I will be back.
This place is so good the quality of food is exceptional. & the portion sizes are huge. I was so full after finishing (dry noodles) & my wife had about half of her for leftovers! (With broth)
The dishes were so flavourful & fresh, we will definitely be back! The dining area is small & there is more seating outside.
The food is delicious, the portions are generous, & I love how the restaurant puts its own spin on the toppings for the noodle dishes. I find the toppings to be quite similar in each option, but what sets each type of noodle dish apart is the seasoning, the accompanying broth, or the sauce.
Creative, convenient & quality take away food!
FooFooNoodz is, without exaggeration, one of Montreal's most exceptional culinary experiences. The soups are nothing short of perfection-deeply flavorful, beautifully balanced, & clearly crafted with extraordinary care. The homemade noodles are cooked to absolute perfection, with a texture & freshness that set them apart immediately. Every ingredient tastes pristine & thoughtfully sourced, & the fact that everything is made in-house elevates the experience even further. It is rare to find food that feels both indulgent & genuinely nourishing; FooFooNoodz achieves that effortlessly.
Beyond the cuisine, the space itself is immaculate to an almost unbelievable degree-spotless, serene, & held to a standard that rivals the most elite kitchens. You immediately feel the integrity behind every detail. & then there is Cody, whose warmth & attentiveness transform a great meal into a memorable one. He is genuinely welcoming, accommodating, & deeply invested in the experience of each guest.
This is not just a neighborhood gem-it is a destination. FooFooNoodz operates at a level that deserves recognition far beyond its current visibility. In a city known for its food, this is Michelin-star quality in every sense.
Dude this might just be the best egg noodles in Montreal. I've tried so many spots, this place is the winner. It's amazing. Everything is delicious. Had the
Szechuan dry noodles, the bone broth, the beef, the pork & their coconut curry soup. My goodness, all immaculate!!! I'm coming back for that coconut curry noodle soup, it's to die for. It's jam packed! Please give this spot a try, you won't regret! We need great noodle spots!!!
Take note I generally rate places I enjoyed eating at. I tend not to rate poor food restaurants because I don't like small shops to loss customers. It is best to privately recommend changes with the owner. That being the case, let me begin sharing my thoughts about FooFooNooz.
It was an exhausting travel day & we still needed to have dinner before crashing on a bed. We looked at a few places with reviews before entering this small but well kept noodle house. The menu was simple. A few soup noodle options, as well as dry noodle plates. (I find in small restaurants it is best to have fewer options made well than many lacking taste.). The noodles were made right in their shop.
The person at the register was helpful with the menu. the restaurant had only three tables & a long counter against the front widow.
I noticed many to go orders as we sat waiting for our meal to arrive. The meal was delicious. It hit the spot I had the beef soup noodles while my husband daughter had the dry noodle plates. The portions were good. My husband ate all his meal feeling satisfied. I ate most of my meal…a few noodles & soup left at the bottom of bowl. My daughter complemented the meal but left about a fourth of it. She generally eats small portions for all her meals.
We enjoyed the meal so much we came back two days later.
The noodle texture crowned this restaurant as the noodle expert in town.
I tried Khmer noodle, & Jakarta noodle. The taste, presentation & portion worth the value.
Ordered for the first time in this resto (Szechuan noodles with pork). The concept is great BUT the food is quite spicy & the SALT put in the food is WAY too much. A little disappointed, to be honest.
