Fiorellino comes across in reviews as a buzzy downtown Italian spot where the pizza is the star and the vibe is warm, lively, and often loud. Guests rave about the wood-fired crust, light dough, and flavorful pastas and gnocchi, with numerous dishes praised for freshness and presentation; the antipasti, salads, and desserts also get favorable mentions. The drinks program is highlighted for well-crafted cocktails and a thoughtful wine list, though some note a limited selection by the glass and a bustle around bar service. Service is generally described as attentive and friendly, with several servers and bartenders going above and beyond, while other visits report long waits for food or a crowded, noisy dining room that makes conversation difficult. Reservations are advised, especially on weekends, and the atmosphere is considered ideal for a lively date night or group outing rather than a quiet meal. Overall, Fiorellino is seen as a delicious, high-energy Italian option in the city, offering excellent pizza and strong hospitality with some variability in pace and acoustics.
The food is excellent, the pizzas are amazing & the drinks are just as good. Everything we ordered was well-prepared & flavourful.
That said, the atmosphere was affected by the manager's behaviour. The manager loudly reprimanded staff in front of customers & in a very rude way (No matter what the mistake was, no one should be talked that way).
The worst service ever. Waited 30 minutes for the cocktails we ordered before the appetizers. An hour later, we still hadn't received our pizzas which, we were told, would take 8 minutes. To be avoided.
Bathrooms are horrible & don't have a first door - can be seen from the tables..
Food was subpar - they wanted to make the pasta'al dente' but ended up bringing it completely unboiled. So al dente it could break your teeth.
L.E.: In response to the rude owner suggesting the Exit door: no worries, like many others, I won't visit you again. Will be spending my money in real Italian eateries, not in low-quality chains.

Came in on a busy night & were happy to get a table right away. Our server was serving the whole bar top plus our section so service was a bit slow, but food came out quickly. He recommended the ragu pasta & it was amazing! We also loved the mushroom tagliatelle & Caesar salad. The cheesecake on special was criminally small, but absolutely delicious. The food is definitely the highlight here, service was friendly & personable but more staff could help with speed. The menu could also be changed online, I had my heart set on a dish only to find that the menu had changed!

After landing in Montreal from Australia we were looking for a quick meal…. We hit the jackpot! The food was delicious, amazing pizza, fantastic gnocchi & the service was outstanding!
We sat at the bar & chatted with Patrick who was so great to talk to. His knowledge of the drinks was second to none.
We went back the second night & will be going back for a third, if not fourth before we leave!!
„Food was good, service was very friendly, although they forgot to come see us & it took quite some time before a waiter came to take our orders (the place was fully booked, so I totally understand... it happens!)
What really bothered me though, was that my friend had warned upon reserving that we would have a stroller. As I made my way to the table, the owner came to stop me with'nuh-uh, no stroller goes in MY dining room.' I understand the policy & personally couldn't care less about leaving my stroller tucked away at the entrance... what was unacceptable was the derogatory tone. This was no way of speaking to another adult, let alone a paying customer. Makes you wonder how he would treat someone in a wheelchair... though the place is not accessible, so they probably wouldn't make it through the front door anyway.'
Came to Fiorellino for dinner with friends. We had an early (6pm) dinner reservation to beat the rush. It got very busy & plaid while we were there. The drinks were fantastic & the food was even better. Everything is hand made in house daily from scratch. The vodka rigatoni was creamy without being overpowering. The gnocchi was equally delicious. If happy return again, next time looking to try their pizza.
