Fiorellino presents a lively Italian dining scene in downtown Montreal with a buzzy, welcoming vibe and a menu that shines with wood-fired Neapolitan pizza and well executed pastas and gnocchi. The cuisine is praised for fresh ingredients and bold flavors, and it's generally well regarded, while cocktails and wine lists are also appreciated, although some guests find the drink prices steep or the choices limited. Service is described as attentive and friendly at times, but can be slow or forgetful when the room is busy, and a number of visits mention long waits for food or a noisy, crowded dining room that makes conversation difficult. Several reviews highlight the bar and overall atmosphere as a highlight for a date or celebratory night out, with a few noting standout service, while others warn that the lively setting is not ideal for quiet meals or quick service. Overall, Fiorellino is a strong pick for pizza lovers and sociable evenings, delivering high quality dishes and energy, with caveats about noise and value during peak times.
Amazing drinks & staff! The staff was so nice & attentive. We cannot say enough good things about the head bartender who served us (the one who curates the drink menu). He had SO much knowledge & great suggestions on drinks & food & made our experience!!! We all had multiple of the signature cocktails & each one was fantastic. All the food was great, & the DJ added such a unique touch to the experience. The food came quick, & was all delicious. Will definitely be coming again!
Merci Zac pour ton service de feu!!! Nous lui avons demandé de nous proposer un choix de vin & de repas & il a répondu à nos attentes avec brio. Nous vous recommandons le filet mignon en entrée, c'était top!
Ridiculously good food. The wait staff & the cooks are also so sweet & you can tell they care for what they do! Shoutout to chef Davide - amazing. Been here more than 5x now. 100000% would recommend!!!
We're a group of 7 with reservation. The place was packed on a Wednesday evening, but service was excellent. My pasta was cooked to perfection with creamy sauce, just delicious!

Great place to eat. The waiter, Zach, was well versed in all the menu options & made good recommendations. We added prosciutto to our tomato smoked mozzarella pizza & the salad (arugula, pickled fennel, picked onions, & mandarins) was a fantastic addition. Visited on a Sunday night in late July.
Had been recommended to us & was not disappointed. Service was very friendly & responsive. Best pizza ever. Wood fired oven & special dough made for an amazing crust. Toppings were delicious. Salad was so good we ordered a second helping. A must try when in Montreal.

The wait staff are super rude to solo diners, forcing them to sit at the bar even when there are plenty of tables available. This is apparently routine behaviour, according to the friend I was staying with, who has also dined there solo a few times & has stopped going there. I was sitting for over 10 min before anyone even gave me a menu, then asked if I was ready to order. I said yes, then asked a question about the wines, & the server left without taking my order. I had to ask another server if I could please order after another 20 min had gone by. The pizza I ordered was good, but very much underbaked & soggy in the middle. A large family with several screaming small children were immediately opposite, so that was my experience of the atmosphere. Would not go back.

The pizza was actually delicious; fresh & really well-made. However, the wine was served a bit too warm for our taste, which wasn't ideal.
What bothered us most was the rushed service. While we were still chatting with food left on the table, the waiter came by to ask if we were done, making us feel like we had to hurry, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. It definitely took away from the experience.
A paradise for the patient elite-if you crave burnt pizza, don't mind waiting over an hour without so much as a drink, & are happy to pay $8 for a few charred slices of plain focaccia, this is your place:) The wait was so impressively long that I actually managed to finish an entire game on my phone. I could've taken my kid back to the hotel for a shower & a nap, & still made it back in time to keep waiting for the pizza he liked. By the time it finally arrived, he was so hungry he didn't even have the energy to throw a tantrum.
