Fiorellino serves authentic Italian cuisine centered on traditional wood-fired pizzas and freshly prepared pasta dishes. The menu emphasizes quality ingredients imported directly from Italy, ensuring each plate reflects classic Mediterranean flavor profiles. Diners observe the artisan preparation process through an open kitchen layout featuring a large central stone oven. The environment utilizes industrial design elements such as exposed brick and polished concrete to create a functional, modern space. Each pizza base undergoes a precise fermentation process before meeting the intense heat of the wood fire to achieve a signature charred crust. Beverage selections focus on regional Italian labels chosen to complement the acidity and texture of the savory menu offerings. This establishment maintains a consistent culinary standard for those seeking genuine Neapolitan techniques and high-quality starch-based traditions in a contemporary setting.
Fiorellino is highly regarded for its authentic Italian cuisine, with many diners praising the exceptional wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant offers a vibrant, lively atmosphere that serves as a perfect backdrop for social gatherings, and many visitors appreciate the warm, professional, and attentive service provided by the staff. While the establishment is frequently noted for being energetic and loud due to its popularity and music, most guests find the overall dining experience, combined with a curated selection of cocktails and wines, to be a highlight of their time in downtown Montreal.
Good pizza. Good service. Good vibes.
Minutes away from the Palais des Congres in Montreal walking.
This made it the perfect stop before heading home to Ottawa.
I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
Great Neapolitan pizza! Delicious bolognese. Caesar salad was delicious, although could have used a touch more dressing. Perfect dirty martini! Great service. Dimly lit. Great spot!
Best place in Montreal! Food was delicious & great service. We were a large group, & people ordered different drinks & they arrived quickly. There was even a great DJ on Saturday. It was our engagement party & the manager Phil took great care of us. Thanks a lot to the whole team.
I came here as part of a group, & we were served fast, & the servers were excellent. The resto mostly has pasta & pizza, but they do it well. The calamari app is enough for 2.
Came in yesterday at 6:45pm, I had a reservation at 7pm (The reservation was not in my name) & they made me wait in a random spot between tables even though my table was wide open. When my friends came in at around 6:55pm, they made us wait until 7:15 to actually guide us to our table. Service was ok, nothing mind blowing.
Food was good, I had the tagliatelle bolognese. Again, nothing mind blowing & quite expensive. I had one of their house drinks which was a total of less than 4oz for 19$, so VERY overpriced. The squash & sage raviolis are good, but the raviolis themselves are quite bland, you only taste the sauce.
At 8:40, our server came by & told us we had to leave before 9pm because they had another reservation, but when we called, they said we would have the table until 9:30pm. We told our server who went to get his manager to confirm. The manager is one of the most condescending person I've ever met. Me & my friends are in our early 20s, & he treated us like we were 14 y/o. He said that the confirmation email my friend received was fake, that we never had the table for 2.5 hours, only 2 hours. When I told him that we got sat down 15min after the beginning of our reservation, he said that was because my friends were late (not the case). I told him that no, they came in early & he proceeded to tell me'No, that's not true you're lying'. The only person who came in'late' was another friend of mine, who could only come at 8pm, but I'd told the hostess about that as soon as I came in that we did not need to wait for her & that she would only order drinks.
A seemingly 40y/o man telling a 21y/o she's lying because of a mistake your staff made is unbelievable & unacceptable. I absolutely do not blame the staff, but I cannot believe the pure unprofessionalism of this manager. Nevertheless, after this whole manager incident, our waited apologized profusely & kept telling us that he understood our displeasure & that it was completely a mistake on their part.
Ps: I almost did not leave this review after seeing how the owner responds to bad reviews. You claim to be a restaurant that offers a luxury experience, yet this is how you treat clients that had a bad experience? By basically insulting them? Don't worry, I'm sure I can find Italian restaurants with staff that won't call me a liar for stating facts.
Great place with delicious pepperoni pizza & Bolognese Pasta. However, the grilled vegetable & goat cheese pizza was disappointing-the'grilled vegetables' were actually green olives, which overpowered the goat cheese. Unfortunately, we didn't realize until we got back to the hotel & had to throw it out. I would definitely go back just wouldn't get that pizza.
was an okay experience. Service was average nothing amazing, take order & drop plates & pay. Wait time was normal, nothing to complain. However, pasta is over priced for quantity & quality. Especially since they were undercooked however sauce was amazing. A little cold in restaurant since it is winter time (duh) but with the door opening & closing made it chilly so ask for a door further away. Ambiance & look is there beautiful restaurant.
