Fiorellino comes across in reviews as a buzzy downtown Italian spot where the pizza is the star and the vibe is warm, lively, and often loud. Guests rave about the wood-fired crust, light dough, and flavorful pastas and gnocchi, with numerous dishes praised for freshness and presentation; the antipasti, salads, and desserts also get favorable mentions. The drinks program is highlighted for well-crafted cocktails and a thoughtful wine list, though some note a limited selection by the glass and a bustle around bar service. Service is generally described as attentive and friendly, with several servers and bartenders going above and beyond, while other visits report long waits for food or a crowded, noisy dining room that makes conversation difficult. Reservations are advised, especially on weekends, and the atmosphere is considered ideal for a lively date night or group outing rather than a quiet meal. Overall, Fiorellino is seen as a delicious, high-energy Italian option in the city, offering excellent pizza and strong hospitality with some variability in pace and acoustics.
We made our office Christmas party here! The food is good, but the service is so long! It took almost 2h to be service entry, main course & we had to had to take eat the caneloni dessert in the office. We just could not wait to eat at the restaurant. There were times I felt we had been forgotten. The music was a bit loud, our team could not really talk. But the food was good!
We booked a reservation at the recommendation of our hotel concierge. The wine list is robust if you want to buy by the bottle however the by the glass options are limited. Ordered a caesar salad to share (underwhelming - nothing you can't make at home) & a pizza & a pasta. The pizza, cacio e pepe - was great - a lot of food & had to take half home. Service was fine, not great but not bad. My only complaint would be the volume of the music. Just too loud for anyone wanting to talk.
If you're after an authentic Italian, this comes very close! Service is friendly & efficient, pizzas are on a perfect thin base. Toppings are simple & elegantly done. Diavolo was fab, as is a classic Margherita. Both times I've been the arrival of the pizza is so quick - if you haven't ordered starters you can expect it in less than a couple of minutes even if the restaurant is busy (& it is always busy!). Garden salad good but basic, limoncello spritz a perfect aperitif. If you're a traveller dining alone expect to sit at the bar or pizza bar - only negative is that these positions are not great for absorbing the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Tout était parfait & délicieux. La clientèle est variée : couples pour soirée romantique & fêtes en famille. Excellent service tres chalaleureux. Samedi soir la musique était bien choise mais un légèrement trop forte.
The ambience was very cozy & intimate. Reservation needed. We ordered the burrata starter & focaccia bread, both extremely fresh & delicious. For mains, we had the gnocchi & mushroom tagliatelle, both very flavourful. They also have a huge wine selection. Highly recommend!

Booked this place for a group reservation, a business dinner. They confirmed by email, even sent the group menu. When we got to the restaurant for the dinner, they had forgotten to write down the reservation, & no apology for the inconvenience. They said they could only fit us in over an hour after our original reservation, that was their only offer.
we had a great meal, unfortunately we found 2 hairs. one in the main & one in the dessert. we also ordered wine & it didn’t arrive until after the mains were delivered. i would love to come back here & i’ve been here before but this was not the service i was expecting tonight, it was also very difficult to flag down our waitress to rectify this problem.
Dined here tonight. Something just felt off about my experience at this restaurant. The pasta was hard but edible enough. I asked the waiter about it & she said it was normal. She didn’t attend to me like she did with other guests even though I was solo. Not sure if it was me, her, or something else. I wouldn’t go back. Probably my worst dining experience in Montreal.
