Fiorellino serves authentic Italian cuisine centered on traditional wood-fired pizzas and freshly prepared pasta dishes. The menu emphasizes quality ingredients imported directly from Italy, ensuring each plate reflects classic Mediterranean flavor profiles. Diners observe the artisan preparation process through an open kitchen layout featuring a large central stone oven. The environment utilizes industrial design elements such as exposed brick and polished concrete to create a functional, modern space. Each pizza base undergoes a precise fermentation process before meeting the intense heat of the wood fire to achieve a signature charred crust. Beverage selections focus on regional Italian labels chosen to complement the acidity and texture of the savory menu offerings. This establishment maintains a consistent culinary standard for those seeking genuine Neapolitan techniques and high-quality starch-based traditions in a contemporary setting.
Fiorellino is highly regarded for its authentic Italian cuisine, with many diners praising the exceptional wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant offers a vibrant, lively atmosphere that serves as a perfect backdrop for social gatherings, and many visitors appreciate the warm, professional, and attentive service provided by the staff. While the establishment is frequently noted for being energetic and loud due to its popularity and music, most guests find the overall dining experience, combined with a curated selection of cocktails and wines, to be a highlight of their time in downtown Montreal.
Patrick was an excellent bartender who made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, & clearly knew what he was doing. Every drink was perfectly made & served promptly. Patrick created a welcoming, fun atmosphere at the bar. I would absolutely come back & recommend him to anyone.
Worst waitress ever. No one even acknowledged us when we came in, & we had a reservation. Our waitress was extremely rude; she pulled the menu out of our hands, barely cared to serve us, & did not even check in or let us order an appetizer. We told her about a serious allergy, & she messed up the order & did not care to even acknowledge it when we asked if it was wrong; our friend was very sick. She continued to have short responses & a passive-aggressive attitude. For such a pricey restaurant, I expected to be treated better. The food was great, but the service was awful & very rude. Would never come back.
Very rude staff. We were standing there for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us- & we had a reservation. Our waitress continued to have short responses & passive aggressive attitude. For such a pricey restaurant they treated us like we not worth the expense.
The food was really good, the pasta was fresh & so was the pizza dough. We tried the spaghetti, the gnocchi, the agnolotti, the sausage & goat cheese pizza & the roasted vegetables one. We waited 45-60mins for the food which was a bit long. But I can say it was worth the wait as the agnolotti was my favorite, full of flavor. Although they made a mistake in our order & all the food didn't arrive at the same time, they managed to repair their mistake in little time. Would come back !
The vibe is warm & lively, just noisy enough to feel alive without being annoying. The service is fast, friendly, & doesn't overdo it. Big generous portions, high-quality ingredients, & flavors that actually feel legit. Honorable mention for the carrot cake…worthy of a sixth star on its own. Had a great time, thanks again!
If you look for a delicious pizza, this is the place!
Now they just have to work on training the employees on attentive service & their head out of the TV & phone screens & creating a warm ambiance (with isolating the chairs legs making noise on the concrete floor & tone down the house/techno music & maybe change it for Italian contemporary like Dean Martin, Andrea Bocelli, etc..).
I was here for my office Christmas party so the restaurant was closed to the public. The food was delicious but hard to know what the prices were since there were no menus. I don't know what it is like eating here when it's a normal restaurant but for my event it was great.
