Je fréquente cet établissement depuis plus de 20 ans & je constate que la qualité des aliments, du service, de l'accueil & de l'ambiance ne font que grandir à chaque visite. Mon expérience pour le 2e service du nouvel ans nous a pas impressionné. Le plateau de fruits de mer étais ordinaire, aucune sauce à par celle à cocktail était servie avec. Pas de beurre à l'ail qui est l'essentiel. N'avais pas de goût, aucune assaisonnement pour le tout. Le plat principal était correct. Le dessert était pas super. Le mix huile d'olive & chocolat laisse à désirer. Je vois qu'ils ont versé 3 types différents de champagne & ont pas voulu nous servir celui qu'on a demandé, nous ont retiré les verres pour les changer. Vraiment n'importe quoi. Vraiment déçu de cette première expérience qui sera la dernière surtout pour 300$ chacune.
The food was good; however, the service was disappointing.
From the start, the waiter's behaviour was unprofessional. While I was placing our order, he walked away to serve another table & later seemed uncomfortable when we said we did not want any starters.
When my brother's sea bass was served, we were not asked whether we would like the head & tail removed. This was surprising, as a neighbouring table received the same dish properly prepared by another waiter.
The situation became more awkward when the bill arrived. I chose not to add a tip, but the waiter insisted that the minimum was 15% & selected it himself on the card machine without my consent.
I normally have no issue tipping & respect hospitality staff, but on this occasion the service & attitude significantly detracted from the experience.

Le service est efficace, attentionné & très professionnel, parfait pour un repas du midi sans se sentir pressé. L'ambiance est élégante mais détendue. Une adresse idéale pour un lunch d'affaires ou un repas entre amis. J'y retournerai avec plaisir.

My visit to Ferreira Café was nothing short of extraordinary. Their cuisine is truly amazing, showcasing a perfect blend of creativity, quality, & authentic Portuguese flavors. From start to finish, every dish felt like a carefully crafted work of art.
We began with their signature appetizer, the Crispy Octopus & the Seafood Platter & both were spectacular. The presentation was beautiful, & each bite was well-balanced & full of flavor. It set the tone for what became an unforgettable dining experience.
The main courses were just as impressive. The'Fresh Catch from the Market & Portugal' lived up to its name: fresh, soft, & rich in flavor. The Fish & Seafood Bouillabaisse & the Lagareiro Octopus were incredibly savory & deeply satisfying. & the Tomahawk? An absolute masterpiece, perfectly cooked & bursting with flavor. It was truly one of the highlights of the night.
The cocktails were equally impressive. The Negroni, Filthy Martini, & Gaia were crafted with precision & tasted like works of art in a glass. The sommelier's champagne & wine recommendations were spot-on, & we thoroughly enjoyed every selection he made.
With great ambiance, friendly staff, & outstanding service, Ferreira Café delivered a memorable dining experience from beginning to end. As my first time enjoying Portuguese cuisine, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. This restaurant is truly worth visiting.
