Stopped by for a quiet Sunday morning breakfast & the room had that low golden light coming through the windows that made the whole space feel calm before the brunch rush hit. Went with the eggs benedict & it came out perfectly poached, not the rubbery mess you get at half these tourist-trap places in Old Montreal. Our server clocked that I was juggling a suitcase & offered to stash it behind the host stand without me even asking, which is the kind of small thing you notice after a dozen hotel breakfasts this year. Cobblestone views out front, unhurried pace, & coffee that actually got refilled without me flagging anyone down, it's easy to see why locals keep coming back.
Amazing dinner at Ferreira. Service, atmosphere & most of all delicious food. From the black cod, steak & of course the dessert trilogy, it was all top notch.
Really lovely experience at Ferreira. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, & we had a wonderful evening. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared & the service was great. Definitely a place I would happily return to next time I'm in Montreal!
A very lively & busy restaurant for a good reason, the food & service was excellent. Crispy octopus may have been my favourite dish on my entire trip in Montreal. I will be back again to try more.
We had such a wonderful meal at Ferreira Café in Montreal! 🦐🦑 The grilled squid was fresh, tender, & absolutely delicious, & the seafood paella was packed with fresh, flavorful seafood. You can really taste the freshness in every bite!
The only small downside was that the seafood rice had a slightly grainy texture, likely from some of the clams & mussels. Aside from that, everything was delicious & beautifully prepared. Overall, a lovely dining experience & definitely a place we would come back to! ❤?
