The food was delicious, however the restaurant closes at 9pm, & we walked in at 8:30pm. The host packed our food in a to-go bag (even though we told him we would be eating in as the restaurant only closed in 30 minutes). He told us that they were closing & forced us to eat in our car (definitely not food that is car friendly). Had he told us that we would not be able to eat-in from the start (even 30 minutes prior to close) we would not have ordered period. Had the owner been present I doubt this would have happened. Don't bother going to eat if you're not there an hour before close. Disappointed at my experience, but the food is excellent. I'd order to-go.
Hands down the best falafal sandvich I have tried in Montreal. Their amba sauce is super addictive, i order that extra everytime & eat it with literally everything other than tea/coffee lol
The falafel plate was okay, the wood fire flavor of the pitas was good. The plate could have more vegetables instead of a pickle.
