I recently visited Falafel Yoni at their Mile End location, & it was such a great experience!
We tried the falafel pita sandwich, & it was absolutely delicious. The falafel was fresh & perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft inside, & full of flavor. The sandwich was loaded with generous sauces that blended beautifully together - every bite was very tasty & satisfying.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, & very knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better.
Definitely a must-try spot if you're in Montreal, especially around Mile End!
Aahh.. the Falafal Yoni.. quite an interesting name..
I stumbled upon this joint when I was vigorously searching vegetarian spot near me ... & it didn't disappoint me at all...
I was quite impressed my the portion size & quickness of the staff.. (It was not busy when I went there)
My order: falafel wrap & you will see a lot of people have posted that same falafel... so you can guess it is quite popular ordered menu here 😋... their staff recommended me the same..
Taste: good 👍.. I approve that it could become best tasting falafel wrap in Montreal...
The bread was soft, the falafel were crispy & taking & other sauces were consistent through with balanced veggies.
Portion size: really well placed with price.. I was somewhat hungry..but it really filled me well..
Ambience: I will give 7/10.. lighting could be better...
Recommendation Level: 8/10
I will recommend it to those who are looking for a cost affective way to spend on a tasty evening meal, vegetarian (the got other options as well but the falafel version is more prominent), quite place ..

Absolument incroyable! Les Falafels sont moelleux & autour croustillants! Les saveurs & les sauces apportent une touche particulièrement délicieuse! 🤤 😋🫶👍
Produit frais & original. Service rapide & courtois. J'aurais aimé goûter un peu plus le'tarator' dans la sauce, mais c'est quand même très bon. Je recommande!
Absolutely amazing food. The falafel balls were so fresh & crispy. The sauces were delicious! The staffs were very helpful & worked fast. I also like the setup of the sink for handwashing inside the dining area very much!
Absolutely delicious sandwiches! Generous amount of toppings in the pita, & the falafel was fantastic. Their spicy sauce is amazing & adds a great kick.
Edited 4 month later: Thank you for selling these delicious sauces that we can enjoy eating at home.BUT PLEASE, clean your restaurant including 🚻. Loved falafel pita. Tasted as good as in Israel 💝 It would be nice to have a little decor & clean up. Atmosphere is a bit depressing, doesn't give you a desire to dine-in. But I do recommend this place & I will be back.

Hands down the best falafal sandvich I have tried in Montreal. Their amba sauce is super addictive, i order that extra everytime & eat it with literally everything other than tea/coffee lol
Visited this place for the first time today & did not regret my choice, Such a delicious Falafel Pita! Very tasty & very very generous, even though i took the half ("demi") version of it. I was a bit lost at first as the displayed menu is not so detailed, but the staff was very nice & patient & they presented me the menu while showing me each item in order to make my choice easier. I really wanted to tried the Sabich sandwich (aubergine, egg & mango) but it only came as a full size & I was not hungry enough this time.. I ate on site & one staff member brought me a small sample of their Mango sauce (which i really wanted to try) for me to try. What a lovely attention, I can't wait for my next visit :))
I like this place so much that sometimes I think about quitting my job to work here & learn the secrets of their moist falafel & zhug sauce. Please share.
Hands down the BEST Falafel I have had till date! Highly recommended. We had their demi pita with falafel. They also ask you if you want it spicy-say yes if you can handle it. Their spicy mint sauce is 💯 We also had the zatar fries (which honestly can be skipped) They have a long wait if you are there on a busy day/touristy weekend.

One of my favourite places for a quick bite in the neighbourhood. The half sandwich is plenty for me & a delicious, affordable option. Falafel Yoni can get busy, so I usually order ahead to avoid the wait. Make sure you get their spicy zhug sauce!
High priced but great portions for the size. The falafel is good. All it’s missing is hot sauce. The service is great & friendly. They speak English & French.
What an excellent falafel I had. It's probably the best one I've ever tasted to this point. I got the falafel in a pita, & there was some relish, sauce, onions together with the falafel. I loved it. They were very generous with the falafel inside.
