Eva B comes across as a quirky, stylish thrift spot with a cafe, a place where every corner invites digging for unusual finds and the vibe is eclectic and welcoming. The two level layout shows a wide mix of vintage and second hand items and the decor invites exploration as much as shopping, with an in house coffee shop and snacks. Prices are generally praised as reasonable and the store aims to be affordable, though some pieces are seen as overpriced for what they are. The atmosphere is often described as fun and busy with a maximalist vibe, plus a terrace and cozy seating, but some reviewers note crowds, a few smells or cleanliness concerns, and accessibility issues due to the building. Overall the place is viewed as a standout for thrifting and cafe culture, delivering great finds, tasty treats, and a memorable ambiance, with caveats about consistency and practical details.
this place is a gem of a thrift store. so many good finds & variety. the price is fair. we'll maintained shop with an in house coffee shop, love! adorable fitting room fitted with vintage seats & tons of mirrors.
An iconic place. If you love thrifting in montreal, everybody knows it, everybody loves it.I do find, though.Recently their selection has been a bit disappointing
Trendy maximalist thrift store with a wide selection of clothes & accessories. They also had a small café where you can order drinks while you're shopping, but I didn't get anything. Reasonably priced stuff, I got a really great ski jacket for $55.
But I should warn some people that it's an old building so some of the wood flooring on the first floor is pretty warped so you may need to skip this place if you have trouble walking or use a mobility aid.
this place is the only fairly priced thrift store i've seen. there's a range of items too. i bought a pink 1940s dress for only $15. a super nice staff member helped me find a top after i went back for it on my second visit. they have a photobooth too though sometimes it doesn't work
Eva B is by far my favorite thrift/vintage store in Montreal!! Unlike some other places here, Eva B keeps their prices reasonable. Most things I buy there range from 5-25 dollars. The store is also beautifully decorated. With a relaxing & welcoming environment. Every time I come visit Montreal I always stop by Eva B. Definently recommend you visit too!
Great selection of used clothes, jewelry, bags & really good prices. They have some food, free popcorn & lemonade. Love the decor, best thrift shop in Montreal! Even better than thrift shops in NYC!
UPDATE 5 years later. I think it's more expensive & not so much of selection of clothes.

I was expecting an average thrift store. But this place is like an art installation. I was completely blown away by its art work, the way they decorated the entire space, I must say I would love to do a photoshoot at this place. They do have a great collection of vintage clothes. Whether you want to buy thrift items or not, this place totally worth a visit.
Food here was delicious & included lots of vegetarian & vegan options. The pricing for the food was also so cheap, at around 6-10$ per person. As for the thrifting, all the products were in great condition & were well organized.
From the decorations, to the lighting, to the music, the vibes were immaculate.
I like this thrift store a lot. I find the cafe area a bit hectic & sometimes messy, but i have always found a place to sit & have a good time. I have visited with people from outside of montreal & the absolutely adore it.
The hype is real. An iconic Montréal thrift experience. From the rarer vintage finds to simple staples. Eclectic & even absurd decor. Making the store itself an art piece. What are they expressing? Nobody knows, & were fine with it. Affordable eats, a nice variety. Not to mention the best chocolate chip cookies in the city... putting your grandma to shame. An absolute, graffitied, hole in the wall. Go inside... & don't forget to go upstairs.
One of the best thrift stores in Montreal. Vintage stuff on first floor, & cheaper clothes on second floor. They have changing rooms & a great cafe! I love it here
A very interesting thrift store with something for everyone. The pricing is actually quite good for many of their items. It's also a great cafe with an outdoor patio in the back. The staff is all very casual & the overall vibe is very fun & relaxed.
