Review Summary

Eva B. is widely regarded as an iconic and unique destination in Montreal, functioning as both an expansive thrift shop and a charming café. Visitors frequently praise the eclectic atmosphere, the museum-like decor, and the vast selection of vintage and secondhand clothing available at reasonable prices. While many patrons highlight the high quality of items, the delicious and affordable food options, specifically the cookies and vegan sandwiches, remain a standout feature of the experience. Despite occasional comments regarding the crowded layout, the uneven flooring, and fluctuating stock, the majority of visitors appreciate the helpful staff and the store's vibrant, welcoming energy, solidifying its reputation as a must-visit spot for those seeking a memorable shopping and dining experience.

I am so mad I just found out how good their food is on my last day living in Montreal after 4.5 years! $7 for a full wrap, with great flavours (all vegan). They also offer store credit for clothing (only $1 credit/ item) & will donate what they don't take! Super helpful!

Forget about this place being a thrift store full of vintage clothes & many other items ... Eva B is like a museum, a unique place that must be on your list of places to visit in Montréal.

I used to love shopping here. I have donated clothes pre pandemic & had no issues. But the last time I left three large bags of clothes, shoes (shoes were still in their original boxes) & some household items (still in their box). When I went back to pick up the things they did not keep, I was shocked. They destroyed the boxes, the shoes were smashed in the bottom. It was disrespectful how they repacked my items. I also left a few objects which they do not accept & I understand that but they still took those object out of their original box & destroyed the box. I do not understand why did they open the box when they could clearly see what's in it & knew that it's something they don't sell in their store. They should not have destroyed it. Overall I think it was disrespectful they way they returned the stuff they did not need.
