Eva B is a large two-level vintage and retro shop with a lively eclectic vibe and a cafe, offering a wide range of items from vintage to more current pieces at affordable prices. Reviewers praise the fun and distinctive decor, the abundance of finds and the welcoming atmosphere, though some note crowds and tight spaces that can make browsing challenging. The store feels like an experience worth spending hours in, with friendly staff, easy access to fitting rooms and good food and coffee that add to the visit. Some comments mention occasional price differences and floor quirks, but the overall sentiment is that Eva B is a must-visit for vintage lovers. The experience blends shopping, food and a unique ambiance that keeps bringing people back.
Cute store with wide selection. Food's pretty cheap too. Just a lil disappointed with the use of ai art in the store, especially because they advertise a lot of cool queer artists. Could they not have spent 15$ commissioning someone?
An iconic place. If you love thrifting in montreal, everybody knows it, everybody loves it.I do find, though.Recently their selection has been a bit disappointing
Trendy maximalist thrift store with a wide selection of clothes & accessories. They also had a small café where you can order drinks while you're shopping, but I didn't get anything. Reasonably priced stuff, I got a really great ski jacket for $55.
But I should warn some people that it's an old building so some of the wood flooring on the first floor is pretty warped so you may need to skip this place if you have trouble walking or use a mobility aid.
Great selection of used clothes, jewelry, bags & really good prices. They have some food, free popcorn & lemonade. Love the decor, best thrift shop in Montreal! Even better than thrift shops in NYC!
UPDATE 5 years later. I think it's more expensive & not so much of selection of clothes.
Good vibes!!! Fun crowd, good selection especially when the outdoor & upstairs space is open… would definitely recommend going during the spring/summer time for this.
The hidden gem? Their $1.50 samosas & chutney is delicious. Added $1 cookie which was a steal too. Can't find anywhere cheaper for this, made fresh that day.

Great selection of attire, offered at unbelievable prices & with a superior level of customer service. There's even a terrasse on two levels in the back for a coffee & cookie when you're ready to take a break from shopping.

I went on a Saturday afternoon which I understood in advance would be the worst time to go. It was very crowded but not chaotic. I would suggest going at a non-peak hour. Staff is nice, cafe is great. All affordable & fair. Around COVID, they downsized the space, but it's still 2 decently sized floors. I also feel like despite the "we are alternative fashion" vibe & massive inventory, the actual selection was predominantly normie. I think people know Eva B is good, & they ransack it. Still 5* though because if you dig-dig you can find something, but again you have to work for it. I'll definitely be back when it's less busy!
