Do the dinner "experience" & get drinks. Food was to die for & service was equally incredible-& I'm picky! Steak taco, cornbread, mango salad, chicken wings, nacho gyoza all top tier. Very cute vibe too.
Went for lunch . This Mexican restaurant serves high end Mexican food. I had 2 shrimps tacos. Portions are small but it was the best tacos I have ever had. My friend had pomegranate nachos, she gave it & 11 out of 10 . I would go back in a heartbeat. I had homemade key lime pie for dessert. So good. & a margarita.
Très bonne petite découverte ! Nous voulions passer un petit moment sympa non loin de notre hôtel & nous avons été conquis. Nous avons pu réserver rapidement via internet. Nous avons été bien accueilli une fois sur place. Carte un peu sous forme de tapas, & tacos a partager. Tout était excellent, un vrai sans faute. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse
Small portions of decent but overpriced food. Decent to good drinks. It's not your place to go with big crowds. Go there if you want to share a drink with a date & have some snack-sized tacos between sips. This place breaks the golden taco rule: it serves two tacos instead of three.

I love the food & the ambiance! However, the last time I went, we were a group of 4, we received one of the worst services ever: It took over 15 minutes for the waiter to take our drinks order. Then another 10 to come back & take our food order. Was then served our entrée prior to receiving our drinks. Waited another 40 min for our food, when he never entered the order, & additionally he never came back during our time to ever ask us if we needed anything else, or how the food was. In the end, he screwed up my bill & when I told him, his reply was "It's ok". No Sir, it isn't ok (this about 3x) as I had to insist that I was not going to pay for something I never ordered. The place was also veeeerry quiet. Had it been a busy night, I'd have understood, but it was dead.
Nice staff & cool place with great tacos, 2 tacos for about $12 , super tasty & good size menu with something for everyone, not to mention really nice drinks. Staff were friendly, good & food & drinks delivered super quick, will be back! 😀 🌮
This was our second time eating at an Escondite, but our first time at this location. Had a delicious meal & loved every bit of it! We tried the gyoza nachos & we only wish there was more of it in the serving. For tacos we tried the Korean steak, fried chicken, al pastor, & baja fish. All were great but my fave was the Baja fish & my partners favourite was the Korean steak. Definitely recommend making a reservation as this place filled up quick on a Saturday night.
Great place with nice & fresh food quality friendly staff & a fancy decoration. The quesadillas melt in mouth softly .Lovely ambiance should give a try without hesitation
Tried two different tacos, General Chapo, & Tinga. I enjoyed all the dishes we tried, with a special preference for the tacos. I would rank them as follows: first, tacos; then General Chapo; & finally, Tinga. However, the chairs & tables in the middle were too close together. When I got up, I accidentally bumped into someone, & my friend got hit by someone's hair. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere, & the staff members were nice & professional.
The food is very good, the vibe is nice. That being said - charging $3 for the salsa... really? First time in my life I pay for salsa in a mexican restaurant. It's like charging for ketchup for your fries. Doesn't make any sense. You should definitely change that.
