Had cheese & shrimps tacos, shared tortillas with guac & some churros. Really not impressed by the food. There was no cheese on the tacos, the guacamole lacked flavor & churros were a bit raw in the middle.

Franchement, l'équipe chez Escondite fait toute la différence! Toujours souriante, dynamique & hyper professionnelle. Ils sont rapides sans jamais bâcler le service, & vraiment à l'écoute des clients. On sent une belle cohésion entre eux, ce qui rend l'ambiance encore plus agréable. C'est le genre d'équipe qui te donne envie de revenir juste pour le service!
Encore une fois, expérience au top chez Escondite! Tout est toujours à la hauteur: l'ambiance, le service & la qualité des plats. On sent une constance dans l'exécution, ce qui est rare. Chaque visite est aussi agréable que la précédente. C'est clairement une place où tu sais que tu vas bien manger & passer un bon moment sans te poser de questions. Fortement recommandé!
Gros coup de coeur pour l'équipe chez Escondite! Le staff est vraiment accueillant, professionnel & super attentif aux détails. On se sent à l'aise dès l'arrivée, & ils prennent le temps de bien conseiller sans jamais mettre de pression. L'énergie de l'équipe rend l'expérience encore meilleure - ça paraît qu'ils aiment ce qu'ils font. Service impeccable du début à la fin!

uper belle expérience chez Escondite! L'ambiance est vraiment unique, parfaite pour passer une bonne soirée entre amis. Le service est rapide, attentionné & toujours avec le sourire. Les plats sont savoureux, bien présentés & pleins de goût - on sent la qualité des ingrédients. Mention spéciale pour les cocktails qui sont excellents & originaux. Franchement, une adresse à découvrir & à revisiter sans hésiter!
We were looking for tasty Mexican & came across Escondite. We reviewed the menu before going & couldn't wait to go. Seating was quick & easy when we got there. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice quiet dinner. The manager, Yona, was accommodating, attentive & helpful. Recommendations were offered when asked, but not pushed on us. We had the Ensalada de Mangos, E'steak Koreano & Nepal, & the Tacos Birria, & two Patron Margaritas. Our meal was excellent. I would highly recommend Escondite Union to anyone visiting downtown Montréal. Thanks for a great meal.
we went for dinner on a friday night, our order was 4 items, & 3 items came wrong, on top we had to wait around 25 min for someone to take the order the first time & when we got it wrong we had to wait again for it to be re-done,
we did not see the server other than taking the order & coming back with the wrong one, & after that a different person came with the right items, no one even checked if we needed water or napkins or anything else,
the place was very dark, just some really low light that made everything difficult to see & eat properly,
overall it was a bad experience !
We have been to other Escondite & it was 100 times better !

We had a wonderful time last night. Yona, who served us, was stellar & his recommendation, attention & conversation definitely made our night. It was an absolutely delight to dine & have some drink there. Food was amazing but Yona killed it for us !
Parfait pour souper avant un événement au Centre Bell. Super bonne bouffe. Il faut réserver. Certaines tables avec des chaises très inconfortables (chaises de métal).
Ordering beer is a scam, charging for $23 for 2 regular size pint stating it as XX. No sauces with the tacos as an authentic Mexican dish…it's such a rip off. Won't go again. Food was overrated. Not recommended at all.
