Très belle expérience au Escondite! Suis allée pour souper avec une amie & notre serveuse fut à la hauteur! Bon accueil, belle ambiance, pas trop bruyant. Le tacos à l'agneau fut divin, je le recommande! Que dire de la guacamole, ouff! Somptueuse! Merci!
We arrived to the place & the waitress had a condescending attitude. Then we waited around 10-15 for the terrace table to be ready. The young waiter was helpful. Then, we waited around 10-15 minutes & no Menu was given to us. After I asked the waitress, they got us menus to the table. Then no one took our order nor checked back with us. We left the restaurant. Not recommended.
our server Eric was really helpful in pointing out what on the menu was gluten free, which I really appreciated. good food & great vibes! i highly recommend the passion fruit lemonade
The food was awesome, especially the Korean Steak tacos! The service was great, we completely forgot to ask our waiters name but he was very nice & efficient, & even recommended us spots around town as it was our first time in Montreal! 10/10, we'll definitely come back again if we're ever back in town.
The food was delicious, & the atmosphere was nice. However, we had to wait much longer than expected for everything. The staff were friendly, & I would recommend making a reservation in advance.
Had a great experience seated at bar during lunch hour. Yona provided excellent service & was friendly amd generous with his margaritas & Mezcal. Tacos were superb. Highly recommend!
My family had such a wonderful dinner experience here. We tried a mix of four different tacos, & every one of them was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the mango salad, along with the chips & guacamole, which were all fresh & flavourful. To finish off the meal, we had the churros with Nutella - such a perfect dessert! Our server, Yona, was incredibly friendly, attentive, & on top of everything throughout the evening. We'll definitely be back & would highly recommend this restaurant to others.
Nowhere else I'd rather go for tacos & margartias while in Montreal. My office is just up the street, so whether it's popping in for a quick lunch bite with a cheeky margarita or coming here with a big group of friends, the food, culture, vibes & staff are so lovely!! Yona, the bartender, even gave me a complimentary tequila shot because i had to go back to work! Highly recommend.
