Service absent qui faisait des shots de tequila au bar, pendant qu'on attendait nos drinks & ensuite nos factures. Cette dernière visite était très bordélique. J'ai toujours aimé ce restaurant, c'était ma quatrième ou cinquième fois, mais j'ai été très déçu.

Solo dining at the bar. No reservation on a Friday night - it was busy. Mango salad, Al pastor tacos & an aperol margarita were great.

The food is always great, love getting the tasting menu with my friends so we can share. Service is quick & staff is super friendly especially Sophie & the bartender (forgot his name) was really funny & makes great drinks.

Had a great experience seated at bar during lunch hour. Yona provided excellent service & was friendly amd generous with his margaritas & Mezcal. Tacos were superb. Highly recommend!

Nowhere else I'd rather go for tacos & margartias while in Montreal. My office is just up the street, so whether it's popping in for a quick lunch bite with a cheeky margarita or coming here with a big group of friends, the food, culture, vibes & staff are so lovely!! Yona, the bartender, even gave me a complimentary tequila shot because i had to go back to work! Highly recommend.

Bars not big enough for the expanded space. Waited 30 minutes from the time I sat down to get my drink. Tables for two are now too small for a tapas style of ordering. Really disappointed, I have been coming here since it opened & I probably won't come back.. maybe I'll give it one more shot if my review is heard..

Première fois au Escondite à Montréal, étant habituée à celui de Repentigny. Le repas était absolument délicieux & à s'en lècher les doigts! N'hésitez pas à prendre le trio de sauce pour accompagner les tacos, ça donne un bon kick savoureux! Nous étions assis au bar & nous avons eu un service impeccable avec les barman très attentionné !! Très belle soirée arrosée !

We loved our visit here & are so glad that we found this place while visiting Montreal. There were three of us & we decided to try the tasting experience while sitting at the bar. The bartender explained to us what it was, took in account our food allergies, & provided us with an amazing experience in some amazing food options & drinks. The staff were so friendly & really made our experience wonderful. Thank you!
