Very disappointing experience; we ordered the Escondite experience. Regardless of whether the price is worth it or not (which personally I think it s overpriced for what we got), the food taste was less then average. We got a cucumber salad (not impressed at all with the taste) a guacamole (maybe the only minidish that we could finish), 4 small tacos (pork & beef very dry) & ribs which was average. Seeing the stars given by other people who actually ate there; I am very surprised & disappointed. The staff did not even distinguish which platters were the shared ones & we had to guess. My personal opinion: i do not recommend this Mexican place neither for the food nor the ambiance (we had to cut our dinner short because of the 1hr30min service which you might want to consider if you are reuniting with friends & don't want to be rushed!)
Dès qu'on passe les portes de ce restaurant nous sommes transportés au Mexique, le décor est magnifique! Pour le dîner nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation & nous avons été complètement conquis! Je vous le recommande, sans hésiter. Vraiment bonne bouffe, coup de coeur pour la salade de mangue, & les tacos de morue
Awesome restaurant. The food tastes great, drinks are on point, the bartenders are amazing, very friendly & welcoming & the rest of the staff is very attentive & always ready to serve.
We had a great experience at Escondite Laval! We were a group of 20 people & everyone was happy with the service & quality of food. The staff & manager were very attentive & accommodating! The group menu was also reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to celebrate a birthday or any occasion!

This is more like a drink place , I thought was a restaurant. The food is a little pricey but is good in general. I personally didn't like the general Chapo, the sweet sauce it was not good, is like they pour the whole jam on the chicken & it was hard to enjoy. We also had tacos which were very good but also small, almost like snack size & they cost $11 for 2 so yeah. I feel like we didn't have a lot of things (just 2 drinks & 2 plates) & the bill went up to $80 The place is generally good , don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is nice for a bar, but is pricey for the portion they serve The staff were friendly & attentive all the time.
L'ambiance est chouette, mais ceux assis près du mur se cognaient la tête sur les décorations fixées au mur. Le service était très bien. La nourriture bonne sans pour autant m'impressionner. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation non seulement pour goûter à tout, mais comme on s'est fait dire que c'était beaucoup de nourriture, nos attentes étaient élevées. Nous avons un bon appétit. Je n'avais plus vraiment faim, mais mon collègue aurait pris un autre service, c'est certain. Prix légèrement dispendieux pour des tapas.
Decent mexican cuisine in a very cozy restaurant. The waiters are very helpful & friendly. The vibe is fun & the margaritas are on point. I recommend this place for a friends' outing.
Très belle endroit, mais étant une personne qui tolére pas bien l'épicé, je n'ai pas pu profiter du dîner comme mes proches. Pour quelqu'un qui aime bien cela, ce resto est fait pour eux ^-^

La nourriture est assez bonne. Je ne recommande pas "L'expérience escondite" à partager qui coûte 40$ par personne,parce que est trop cher pour la quantité servie!La quantité est pour une personne,mais n'importe pas le nombre des personnes,vous êtes chargé 40$ chaque & la quantité reste pareil.Dans touts les restaurants où j'ai mangé,l'assiete à partager a un prix fix.L'alcool cher aussi!
We really enjoyed our time over there! We met with the owner(very friendly guy), the staff has been really nice & attentioned to our needs. The service was quick, the ambience is super nice & the place looks unique & nice. I will definitely come back!!
I went to eat here for lunch today for the first time. Thé service was excellent, the waitress recommended a few plates which were all really good. Service was fast & waitress answered all my questions concerning my food allergies. Will be coming back at night with friends.
